Corrections and right of reply

We want every FashionAudit page to be accurate. If you think something we published is wrong, out of date or unfair, please tell us. Brands, companies and readers can all use this process.

How to ask for a correction

Write to us through our contact page and include:

  • the address of the page;
  • the sentence or figure you believe is wrong;
  • what you believe is correct; and
  • a document or link that shows it, such as a filing, a certificate, a test report, a court order or an official product page.

What we do

  • We check what you send against our sources and reply to you.
  • If we got something wrong, we correct the page and add a dated note on the page saying what changed.
  • If a fact has simply changed since we checked it, such as a price, a seller or a company’s status, we update the page and its “as at” date.
  • If we disagree, we tell you why.

Right of reply for brands

If you represent a brand we have audited, you can send us a short statement or documents, such as a certificate or test report behind a product claim. Where they add to what a buyer should know, we will reflect them on the page with the date we received them.
