





Liberty began in 1954 as a small shoe unit in Karnal, Haryana, started by Dharam Pal Gupta, Purshotam Das Gupta and Rajkumar Bansal. Its first export shipment went to the USSR in 1975. Today the listed Liberty Shoes Limited makes the shoes in five factories across north India and sells through company showrooms and its own website.
