Frido is the consumer brand of Arcatron Mobility, a Pune company Ganesh Sonawane and Arif Khan founded in 2015. It began with wheelchairs and mobility aids and now sells orthopaedic insoles, ergonomic cushions and comfort footwear. Frido sells through its own website, the major marketplaces and retail stores across India.
We’ve bought, used and rated 887 footwear products so far, 47 of them in Sandals. Products in Sandals average an FA score of 8.2 out of 10. Every score comes from our own testing, never from the brand.
We rate it 9/10 (excellent) after buying and testing it ourselves. What we liked most: Superior Cushioning: The insole has significant height and is very easy to press, indicating high-quality cushioning that supports the heel during long hours of wear. Could be better: Limited Adjustment: Although the buckle is functional, the brand has not provided extra holes for further adjustment.
It’s listed on Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra. The store buttons at the top of this page open each listing, so you can check today’s price and sizes there.
Bottom sole: TPR; Upper material: Mesh. See Specifications above for the full details.
We score its comfort 9.5/10 (excellent), after using it ourselves.
Its value-for-money score is 9/10 (excellent): we weigh what you get against similar products we’ve tested.
Yes. Frido is an Indian brand, and it is owned by Arcatron Mobility.
We buy every product ourselves and score it out of 10 on design, material quality, comfort and value for money. The FA score is the average of those scores. No paid placements: brands can’t buy a better score.
