It is not Banana Republic, one of Gap Inc.’s own brands; no document read connects the two.

Who owns Banana Club
The owner on every own page is a young company. ZaubaCorp and InstaFinancials, two privately run copies of the companies register, show Banana Club In Vogue Private Limited “Active”, incorporated on 3 November 2022 at the Bangalore registrar, with ₹20,00,000 authorised. They part on the rest: paid-up capital of ₹15,31,224 and a balance sheet dated 31 March 2023 as the latest on ZaubaCorp, ₹15,47,474 and 31 March 2025 on InstaFinancials. No filing behind either was read, so both stand.
ZaubaCorp titles its activity code 5260 “Repair of personal and household goods…”, the mirror’s label for a number rather than a description of a shirt business. The registered office is Vimala Tower, Sudhamanagar, Bangalore 560027, as on the Google Play developer listing; the website gives a corporate office at Gavipuram Extension, Bengaluru 560004.
Neither mirror shows revenue. Indian Retailer reported an annual run-rate of ₹150 crore on 10 June 2026, the company’s own figure given to the press. Entrackr on 27 October 2025 and Apparel Resources a day later reported ₹12.25 crore raised at a ₹245 crore valuation on the television show “Pitch to Get Rich”; neither cites a filing, names the issuing company or names the investors. Nothing read shows control changing hands.
The start date depends on the source: “founded in 2012” in Indian Retailer on 8 March 2025, 2023 in the same title on 10 June 2026, and use claimed from 25 April 2011 on the class 25 word mark. The About page gives no year.
Every trade-mark detail here comes from QuickCompany, which mirrors the Indian register, so each is a mirror reading.
| No. | Mark and class | Status as printed | Filed | Proprietor printed on the mirror |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6020389 | Banana Club, word, class 25 | “Registered”, to 14 July 2033; use claimed from 25 April 2011 | 14 July 2023 | Banana Club In Vogue Private Limited |

One QuickCompany page per mark number, read 30 September 2026. The goods listed on No. 6020389 run from “Clothing, Ethnic Collections” and shirts to trousers, footwear and “Underclothing”.
A register entry is a request with a status attached: who asked for a word or picture, for which goods, from what claimed date, and how far the Registry has taken it. “Registered” in class 25 says the In Vogue company’s claim to “Banana Club” for clothing passed examination; it does not follow a shirt from cutting table to courier. The 2011 use date is the applicant’s own statement.
The older pair print a sole-proprietor firm, an individual trading under a style, so it is not named. No assignment or registered user appeared on either page. The mirror’s “banana club” search also shows unrelated marks such as “CB Club Banana” and “Banana Blue”; none carries the In Vogue name.
How Banana Club reaches the shelf
The brand’s own channels carry one company name. The site’s terms name Banana Club In Vogue Pvt Ltd as operator, the Android app lists BANANA CLUB IN VOGUE PRIVATE LIMITED as developer and calls itself “designed for men”, and orders ship “within 24 – 48 hours”.
The store page listed 22 entries: ten in Bengaluru, two of them both headed “VV Puram Store”, five in Hyderabad, two in Delhi, and one each in Chennai, Mumbai, Indore, Mysore and Tirupati. It gives no total and does not say who runs each shop. Indian Retailer counted 10 stores on 8 March 2025 and 20 on 10 June 2026; three counts on three dates, not a growth rate.
No channel split is published, and no licence or franchise paper ties the label to an Indian retail group.

Banana Club on the shelf
The Banana Club facet ran to 2,190 listings on 30 September 2026, with no look-alike facet beside it. The opening forty were 21 shirts, 13 pairs of trousers, 3 of jeans, 2 kurtas and a shacket.
Their median tag was ₹1,849 and median price asked ₹1,641, or 88.8%. All forty were below MRP, mostly by little: a “Men Striped Casual Shirt” tagged ₹1,899 sold at ₹1,822. Thirty shirts behind the Shirts filter gave ₹1,999 and ₹1,641, 82.1%, all reduced. Of ten Indian clothing and innerwear labels read there that day, only Bodycare, at 98.4%, kept more of its tag.
Of twenty opened, BANANA CLUB IN VOGUE PRIVATE LIMITED sold 16 and Supercom Net 4. Every one of the 20 gave India as origin; 19 left the importer field blank.
The field that matters here is “Manufactured By”. Under India’s packaging rules it names the business answerable for the goods, a legal role rather than a place, and says nothing alone about where cloth was cut or sewn. Banana Club In Vogue, seller on sixteen of these records, was that signature on one of the twenty.
Where Banana Club is made
The brand describes its production in its own words.
“Utilizing our in-house manufacturing capabilities”
bananaclub.co.in, About Us page, read 30 September 2026. The sentence goes on to claim oversight of every aspect “from sourcing to stitching”, and the page calls the clothes “made in Bharat, for Bharat”.
No page read gives a factory address, a unit count or an outside maker. The two own-site product pages read print “Banana Club In Vogue Pvt Ltd” at Gavipuram Extension, though the text read did not establish whether as maker or marketer, and showed no origin line.
Product pages give fibre percentages and care instructions. No standard or certifier backs the About page’s “top-notch quality products at affordable prices”, and no sustainability claim appeared.
Desai Clothing Exports and the other names on the pack
Seventeen maker lines named Desai Clothing Exports in two forms: “Desai Clothing Exports Pvt Ltd, #9, 3rd Cross, Raghavendra Layout, Yeshwanthapur…”, cut off by the field, on 14, and “Desai Clothing Exports Pvt Ltd, Yeswanthpur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560022” on 3.
IndiaFilings, a register mirror read the same day, carries DESAI CLOTHING EXPORTS PRIVATE LIMITED, CIN U46411KA2023PTC177305, incorporated on 14 August 2023 at the Bangalore registrar, with ₹10,00,000 authorised and paid up.
Two lines read “Banana club trends private limited No.7, Parmar Tower, 8th Main, 8th Cross Sam…”, truncated. ZaubaCorp lists BANANA CLUB TRENDS PRIVATE LIMITED, CIN U51909KA2017PTC106941, “Active”, incorporated on 5 October 2017, ₹40,00,000 paid up, under a wholesale code. The last record named the In Vogue company at “No.10/12. Vimala Tower, 2nd cross, SGN layout…”.
Three companies, then, appear in this account: In Vogue on the marks and the till, Desai on most maker lines and Trends on two. Each is treated as a separate company.
Returns, warranty and who answers
The returns page opens with “You can return or exchange your purchase within 7 days.” Then it narrows. Sale, BOGO, store-credit and footwear purchases are exchange-only; sunglasses, socks, boxers and innerwear are refused; a “₹100 reverse shipment fee” is deducted. Prepaid refunds go to the original method in “3-5 working days”; cash-on-delivery buyers get an emailed gift card, valid 30 days and usable once, and refunds start “within 5–7 working days” of the return clearing quality checks.
Two clauses bite sooner than seven days: missing or wrong items “should be reported within 24 to 48 hours from the delivery date”, and a tampered parcel “should not be accepted”. The terms and privacy notice send complaints to customercare@bananaclub.co.in. No product warranty appeared on the pages read, so the written terms end at day seven.
On four marketplace records the seller a buyer would deal with first was Supercom Net.
What Banana Club costs in India
With no overseas price list among the documents read, the yardstick is the marketplace, set beside the brand’s own site.
| Shirt on bananaclub.co.in | Code | Fibre as stated | MRP | Selling price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Antique Maroon Floral Jacquard Shirt | BCT43274 | “45% Polyester 55% Cotton” | ₹1,999 | ₹1,399, shown as 30% off |
| Black Metallic Stripe Designer Shirt | BCT42647 | “62% Cotton 35% Polyester 3% Lycra” | ₹1,399 | ₹1,249 |
| Black Embroidered Cotton Linen Shirt | Collection page | “Cotton Linen”, from the name only | Not shown | ₹1,499 |
bananaclub.co.in product pages and the premium shirts collection, read 30 September 2026. The home page also offered “10% Off on Orders ₹4,499+”.
Own-site shirts landed at ₹1,249 to ₹1,499, below the marketplace’s ₹1,641 shirt median. No code was matched across the two, so that is not one garment priced twice; the own-site MRPs and the marketplace’s median MRPs read all sit under ₹2,000.
Checking a Banana Club is genuine
No authenticity statement or authorised-seller list appears on the pages read; the store page is the only roster of outlets.
Read the maker line and keep it
The maker lines read named Desai Clothing Exports at Yeshwanthapur on 17, Banana club trends at Parmar Tower on 2 and the In Vogue company at Vimala Tower on 1. Note the name your listing prints and keep it with the invoice.
Note the seller of record
BANANA CLUB IN VOGUE PRIVATE LIMITED sold 16 of the 20 records opened and Supercom Net 4. Whichever it is, keep the invoice that prints the name.
Look up the BCT code
Own-site shirts carry codes such as BCT43274 and BCT42647. The product pages read print each code with its MRP and fibre split, so a tag can be set against them.
Use a listed shop
Twenty-two entries appear on the brand’s store page, from VV Puram in Bengaluru to Tirupati. Buying at one means dealing with a shop the brand itself lists.
The record in India
What turned up is registry paperwork: the companies named above show “Active” on the mirrors read, and the marks carry the statuses tabled above. FashionAudit did not find a court, tribunal or regulator document naming the label or these companies among the sources read, which describes those sources, not a certificate.
Who Banana Club is actually for
Banana Club fits a man after a printed, striped or jacquard cotton-blend shirt at roughly ₹1,250 to ₹1,850, near a Bengaluru or Hyderabad shop or happy online. It is a weaker fit where the priority is a written product warranty. For other Indian shirt names, see FashionAudit’s Allen Solly audit, the Van Heusen audit and the Blackberrys audit.
