FableStreet is an Indian women’s workwear label owned by Fable Street Lifestyle Solutions Private Limited, incorporated on 15 February 2016 under the Delhi registrar. Its website sells office trousers, shirts, dresses, skirts and business jackets, with an “FS Work” section in its navigation, and the company’s blog dates the brand to 2016, promising “premium work-wear designed for Indian women”. The label writes its name as one word; the company writes it as two.
The brand’s pages, register mirrors and trade reports cited here were read on 29 September 2026. The next day a large Indian fashion marketplace showed 3,166 listings under “FABLE STREET”; the owning company was seller on each of the 20 declarations opened, and 18 named it again under “Manufactured By”, spelt “Fablestreet”.
Fable Street Lifestyle Solutions Private Limited, a private company registered in Delhi, operates fablestreet.com and names itself on its policies and store locator. The two main FableStreet clothing marks are both “Registered” on the trade-mark mirror. On the marketplace on 30 September 2026 it was seller of record 20 times out of 20 and appeared on 18 maker lines. No document read records a sale or change of control; the events on file are a 2017 seed round and a 2025 Series B that two trade reports size differently. The own site allows seven days to return, two exchanges, a gift card rather than cash for cash-on-delivery refunds, and no warranty on the policy pages read.

Who owns FableStreet
The owner is private and unlisted. ZaubaCorp, Tofler and QuickCompany, three sites that republish the companies register, all show it “Active” and incorporated on 15 February 2016 at ROC Delhi. None of the documents read calls it anyone’s subsidiary.
Beyond that the mirrors drift apart. ZaubaCorp’s registered office is “B-3/190, Paschim Vihar”, New Delhi 110063; Tofler’s is a flat in Paschim Puri or Paschim Vihar. Paid-up capital also differs by mirror. Tofler shows a revenue band, “₹ 75-100 cr (as of March 2024)”, its own range rather than a figure from accounts. Entrackr and Indian Retailer reported on 10 October 2025 that FY24 operating revenue grew by over 40% while the loss widened by 70% to ₹17 crore; those are figures as both outlets reported them, not filed accounts read here.
The trade-mark detail comes from QuickCompany’s copy of the Indian register, so every line of it is a mirror reading.

QuickCompany mark pages for Nos. 5066961, 3593492 and 5013355, and its company page for the rest, read 29 September 2026. Neither class 25 mark page shows a registered user.
Both marks give B 3/190 Paschim Vihar, ZaubaCorp’s office line, as the proprietor’s address. The company page also lists “Pink Fort” and “Fablestreet X” as “Registered”, and class 14 jewellery marks such as “March”.
A register entry is a claim staked on a word for a list of goods; its status shows how far the claim has got. “Registered” on No. 3593492 means the application for clothing, footwear and headgear went through, and the 2016 use dates are the applicant’s own claim. No entry shows who cut a blazer, who ships it, or whether anyone else is licensed; the pack and the shop answer those.
How FableStreet reaches the shelf
The footer, the return and refund policies and the store locator of fablestreet.com name the company at “Plot No. 335, Udyog Vihar, Phase IV, Gurugram, Haryana – 122002”, with care@fablestreet.com and 01143078400 for contact. The mirrors give Paschim Vihar instead: two addresses, one company.
On 29 September 2026 the locator listed ten stores, mostly in DLF and Phoenix malls: one each in Bangalore and Gurugram, four in Delhi NCR, two each in Mumbai and Pune. Entrackr’s report of 10 October 2025 counted five and quoted plans for ten within six months and “over 100 outlets within three years”. Five and ten are two readings on two dates; the hundred is a reported plan.
No document read splits sales by channel or shows an Indian retail group carrying the label under licence. Indian Retailer names two other labels from the company, March Jewellery in sterling silver and Pinkfort in modern Indian wear, and the “March” and “Pink Fort” marks on the mirror match them.

FableStreet on the shelf
The marketplace spells the facet “FABLE STREET”, and no second FableStreet facet sat beside it. The first forty listings, in the facet’s own order, were led by 14 tops, 13 shirts, 5 dresses, 3 waistcoats and 3 trousers, 38 of the forty, with ₹2,645 as the median MRP and ₹1,557 as the median paid: 58.9%. A striped waistcoat tagged ₹2,995 was selling for ₹1,796.
All 40 were marked down, yet that 58.9% was second among ten Indian clothing labels read that day, behind only The Bear House at 80.4%, and the highest of the six labels whose forty were all reduced. Thirty listings behind a Tops filter gave ₹2,295 and ₹1,406, or 61.3%, all 30 cut and again second of ten. That is one day’s shelf.
Of the twenty declarations, all named Fable Street Lifestyle Solutions Private Limited as seller and India as origin. Under “Manufactured By”, 16 read “Fablestreet Lifestyle Solutions Pvt Ltd” at Plot 362, Phase II, Udyog Vihar, and 2 gave the name with a Plot 250, Phase I address in two spacing variants. One printed only “Plot No. 335, Udyog Vihar, Phase – IV, Gurugram, Haryana, 122002”, the website’s contact plot, and one only “Plot no 362, Udyog Vihar, Phase-2, Gurgaon…”. The importer field was blank on 17.
The maker lines say “Fablestreet”, one word; the seller field and the register say “Fable Street”, two. The strings differ, and no document read names a second company under the one-word form.
What that field records is a promise, not a location. Indian packaging rules require the pack to name a business that answers for what is inside, and the marketplace prints it under “Manufactured By”. A plot number after the name is that business’s address for the purpose; it does not show that any shirt was stitched there.
Where FableStreet is made
On paper, India: all 20 marketplace declarations said so.
No document read says where the garments are sewn, whether the company owns a factory or has any of the work done outside. ZaubaCorp files it under “Manufacture of wearing apparel, except fur apparel”, a class that, in its own wording, covers garments “made of material not made in the same unit” and where “Both regular and contract activities are included”. That is a classification label, not proof of a plant. The pack’s addresses are three Udyog Vihar plots, 362, 250 and 335, the last being the website’s Gurugram plot; no document read says what stands at the other two.
Outside money, as the documents read record it
The ownership events on record are investments. Entrackr reported in July 2017 a seed round of undisclosed size from Fireside Ventures. On 10 October 2025 Entrackr and Indian Retailer both reported a Series B allotment of 10,282 compulsory convertible preference shares at ₹34,568 apiece, led by Colossa Ventures, through what Indian Retailer calls its “Colossa WomenFirst Fund”, with Fireside Ventures, ASA Holdings, HirePro Consulting and Mirabilis Investment Trust alongside. Indian Retailer cites a Registrar filing, not read here.
Entrackr’s figure
- Series B: ₹50 crore, in its headline
- No stake stated
Indian Retailer’s figure
- Series B: ₹35.54 crore
- An earlier ₹50 crore pre-Series B, led by Fireside
The two reports size the round differently. The allotment they share, 10,282 shares at ₹34,568, multiplies to ₹35.54 crore; Entrackr’s headline gives ₹50 crore for the Series B, and Indian Retailer gives ₹50 crore for an earlier round. Neither states the stake. No document read records an acquisition, change of control or transfer of the brand.
Both October reports also call the company “FS Life”, a name the brand’s blog path “/blogs/fslife/” echoes. No register entry read carries it, so this page uses the registered name only.
Returns, warranty and who answers
The site’s return and refund policies carry the company’s name. A piece can go back “within 7 days of delivery”; each order allows “up to 2 exchanges per original order”, after which “the product will be considered a final sale”. Sending back the wrong item costs a ₹190 logistics fee, and returns must pass “our quality inspection”.
Prepaid returns are refunded “within 24–48 hours” of pickup, and a cancelled prepaid order starts its refund within 24 hours, then takes “5–7 business days to reflect in your account”. Cash-on-delivery money comes back as a gift card of “lifetime validity”, as the policy spells out:
we do not offer bank accounts or cash refunds for COD / Pay on delivery orders
fablestreet.com, Return & Exchange Policy, read 29 September 2026.
Shipping, COD handling, customs levies and gift wrapping are not refunded, and no policy page read offers a warranty. A site buyer ends up with a week, two swaps, prepaid money back within two days or a gift card, and then an inbox and a phone line; the policies read name no grievance officer. On the marketplace, the same company was seller of record on all 20 records opened.
What FableStreet costs in India
No overseas FableStreet price was read, so the site is set against the marketplace. Its prices on 29 September 2026, sale banner up:
| Item on fablestreet.com | Code | Price shown | MRP shown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cotton Straight Fit Trousers, Black | Not displayed (URL slug fstr221blac) | ₹1,499, “inclusive of all taxes” | Not displayed |
| High Waist Trouser, Black | FSTR213BLAC | ₹1,947, “inclusive of all taxes” | Not displayed |
| Button Down Shirt, Black | FSSH255BLACK | ₹1,622, “inclusive of all taxes” | Not displayed |
| Single Breasted Blazer, Brown | JK135BRWN | ₹2,995 | ₹2,995, no discount shown |
fablestreet.com product pages, read 29 September 2026.
Only the blazer showed an MRP, and it sold at that figure despite the banner. None was matched to a marketplace listing, so the striped waistcoat at ₹2,995 tagged and ₹1,796 paid is a different garment, not the same one priced twice. For other office-wear labels traced the same way, see FashionAudit’s Van Heusen audit and its Allen Solly audit.
Checking a FableStreet garment is genuine
No FableStreet page read names authorised sellers or reports copies, so these checks use the brand’s own paperwork.
“Fablestreet”, one word, on the maker line
Eighteen records gave that name with a Udyog Vihar plot; two gave the plot alone. No other company’s name stood on that line in the records read.
“Fable Street”, two words, as seller
The company sold all 20 records opened on 30 September 2026. A different seller falls outside that reading.
Look up the style code
The site prints codes such as FSTR213BLAC. Find the same code on fablestreet.com and compare cut and price.
Know the usual markdown
The opening 40 had a median paid of 58.9% of their median MRP. A tag cut far deeper sits outside anything that shelf showed.
The record in India
All three mirrors show the company “Active”. ZaubaCorp records a charge of 20 March 2023 in favour of “AXIS TRUSTEE SERVICES LIMITED” for ₹20 crore; Tofler shows one charge to the same trustee at “5.0 cr”. A charge is registered security, not a finding against anyone. FashionAudit did not find a judgment, tribunal decision or regulatory action concerning the company or its label among the documents read, and that nil reaches only as far as those company pages, mirrors and trade reports. Nobody has ruled on any of the FableStreet readings above; where sources part, each version is printed.
Who FableStreet is actually for
FableStreet suits a woman buying office trousers, shirts and blazers, ₹1,499 to ₹2,995 on the brand’s site, who wants the company on the pack, the website and the marketplace invoice to be one and the same. It suits less well a cash-on-delivery buyer who wants cash back, or anyone wanting a warranty.
Fit is the brand’s pitch, and the pages read publish no method behind it. The Our Story page claims a “proprietary tailored fit algorithm that gives a great fit with 3 self-measurements”, and data from “10,000+ women over the last 4 years”; the blog of 15 April 2024 says the team “measured over 10,000 Indian women (initially)”, framing the same number differently. The site’s line that other brands use “European size charts for Indian bodies” cites no source on the page read. Other Indian women’s labels are traced in FashionAudit’s Aurelia audit.
Common questions
Who owns FableStreet?
Fable Street Lifestyle Solutions Private Limited, a private company incorporated in Delhi on 15 February 2016 and shown “Active” on three register mirrors. It operates fablestreet.com and was the seller on each marketplace record opened on 30 September 2026.
Is FableStreet the same as FS Life?
Two trade reports of 10 October 2025 call the company “FS Life”, and the brand’s blog uses an “fslife” path. No register entry read carries that name; the company on the site, the mirrors and the packs is Fable Street Lifestyle Solutions Private Limited.
Has FableStreet been bought by another company?
No document read records an acquisition or change of control. The events on record are investments: a 2017 seed round with Fireside Ventures and a 2025 Series B led by Colossa Ventures, sized at ₹35.54 crore by one report and ₹50 crore by another, with no stake stated.
Where are FableStreet clothes made?
All 20 marketplace declarations read gave India. No document read names a FableStreet factory or outside maker. The “Manufactured By” line gives the company and Gurugram plot numbers, which tells a buyer who is answerable, not which unit did the sewing.
Can I get cash back on a cash-on-delivery FableStreet order?
Not under the brand’s return policy as read on 29 September 2026, which refunds cash-on-delivery orders as a gift card with “lifetime validity”. Prepaid returns go back to the buyer within 24–48 hours of pickup.

FableStreet is about as traceable as an Indian clothing label gets. One Delhi-registered company operates the site, names itself on the locator and policies, sold every marketplace record opened and put its name on 18 maker lines, spelt “Fablestreet” there and “Fable Street” elsewhere. The outside money on record, a seed round and a Series B, arrived with no change of control in any document read.
The gaps sit in the detail: two reported sizes for the Series B, and nothing read on where the clothes are sewn. The own-site deal is a week to return, two exchanges, a gift card instead of cash for cash-on-delivery buyers, and no warranty on the policy pages read.
A well-signed workwear label: pay by card if a cash refund might matter, compare the site with the marketplace on the day, and read “Fablestreet” on the maker line as the company answering, not the room where it was stitched.
