Lux Cozi is a men’s innerwear brand sold by Lux Industries Limited, a Kolkata hosiery company listed on the NSE and BSE. The name is easy to pin down: the Indian trade-mark mirror lists twenty Lux Cozi marks before any unrelated “Lux-” or “-cozy” filing by another party.
The audit turns on two documents that print different names. Read on 30 September 2026, every Lux Cozi record opened on a large Indian fashion marketplace carried Lux Industries as seller and as the “Manufactured By” party. The trade-mark mirror printed Biswanath Hosiery Mills on the marks, at Lux’s registered street address, and Lux’s filing of 23 April 2026 calls the principal LUX mark the “exclusive property” of Biswanath Hosiery Mills Limited, “perpetually licensed” to Lux.
Lux Industries Limited, a listed Kolkata company, sells Lux Cozi and signs every marketplace record read; its 2025-26 annual report credits the brand with about ₹700 crore of gross sales. The trade-mark mirror prints Biswanath Hosiery Mills on the Lux Cozi marks, at Lux’s registered street address, and Lux’s own filing says the principal LUX mark is “perpetually licensed” to it. The marketplace’s first 40 listings had a ₹907 median price against a ₹1,060 median MRP, and the brand’s own site showed no prices or cart.

Who owns Lux Cozi
The business belongs to Lux Industries Limited, “Active” on ZaubaCorp’s copy of the companies register, incorporated on 21 July 1995, listed there with the former name “LUX HOSIERY INDUSTRIES LTD”, and registered at 39 Kali Krishna Tagore Street, Kolkata. Its audited standalone figures for the year to 31 March 2026 show ₹2,923.55 crore of revenue from operations and ₹101.45 crore of net profit.
No brand-level revenue is published. The company reports three verticals as operating segments under Ind AS 108, with Lux Cozi in Vertical A; the results of 14 August 2026 list six names in that vertical and the board outcome of 23 April 2026 lists four, and both start with Lux Cozi.
| Period | Vertical A revenue | Vertical A segment result | Company, standalone revenue from operations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year to 31 March 2026 (audited) | ₹1,365.22 crore | ₹64.18 crore | ₹2,923.55 crore |
| Quarter to 30 June 2026 (unaudited) | ₹290.77 crore | ₹14.95 crore | ₹615.25 crore |
Lux Industries results for the quarter to 30 June 2026 (board meeting 14 August 2026), read 30 September 2026. Vertical A also carries ONN and Lux Parker, so no column is Lux Cozi alone.
The one number the company puts on the brand, in the documents read, is a gross figure in its annual report.
“Lux Cozi delivered approximately ₹700 Cr in gross sales during the year, a result that validates nearly two decades of consistent brand investment and confirms its position as the first-choice brand in the mid-premium segment.”
Lux Industries Limited, Notice and Annual Report 2025-26, filed with the exchanges on 2 September 2026; read 30 September 2026.
“First-choice” and “mid-premium” are the company’s words. Gross sales are not revenue from operations, so the ₹700 crore is not set against the vertical. The report’s highlights also give company revenue as “₹2,929 Cr”, which matches neither the standalone nor the consolidated figure in the results statement; both are printed, and no document read explains the gap.
The brand site’s milestones date Biswanath Hosiery Mills to 1957, Lux Cozi Glo to 2016 and, in 2019, what the company calls “India’s first scented vest”. ZaubaCorp dates Biswanath Hosiery Mills Limited to 24 August 1990; nothing read reconciles 1957 with 1990.
How Lux Cozi reaches the shelf
In the documents read, distribution is counted for the company, not for one brand. The June-quarter investor presentation gives “2 lakh+ multibrand stores”, “3,000+ dealers network” and “12 EBOs”, and names Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO, Zepto and Blinkit as online outlets. The annual report to 31 March 2026 gives 15 exclusive outlets and 8% of revenue from exports. The 12 and the 15 are two dated readings; neither document gives a channel share.
luxinnerwear.com is a catalogue: Lux Cozi pages for men, women and children, lines such as Lux Cozi Glo and Big Shot, and on 30 September 2026 no price, cart or buy button. Its terms name Lux Industries Limited “trading as” Lux Cozi and three Cozi sub-styles, without a CIN.

Lux Cozi on the shelf
The marketplace’s Lux Cozi facet listed 2,589 products on 30 September 2026, with no neighbouring facet under the name. Its first 40 listings were mostly not vests: the category tally read T-shirts 26, trunks 8, innerwear vests 4, briefs 1 and one thermal set. A two-pack of pure cotton round-neck half-sleeve innerwear was marked ₹340 and offered at ₹278.
All 40 carried a price below MRP, but the cuts were shallow: a ₹1,060 median tag, a ₹907 median paid, 85.6%. Filtered to T-shirts, 30 listings kept the ₹1,060 median MRP at a ₹925 median paid, 87.3%, all reduced. Of ten Indian facets read that day, only Bodycare and Banana Club kept more of their MRP.
Twenty of the first 40 were opened. LUX INDUSTRIES LIMITED was seller of record on each, each declared India, and the “Manufactured By” field on all twenty named Lux Industries Ltd at “39, K. K. Tagore Street, Kolkata – 700007”, in five spellings that differ only in spacing and punctuation (8, 6, 3, 2 and 1). The importer field read “Not Applicable” on 12, blank on 4, “-” on 3 and “NA” on 1. Biswanath Hosiery Mills appeared on none. Lux’s Lyra records print another Lux address, on B.T. Road.
Where Lux Cozi is made
A Lux Cozi declaration answers a narrow question. “Manufactured By” is where Indian packaging rules have a company put its name to the article and answer for it; the line names that answerable party, not a factory. Here the party is Lux Industries and the address its registered office, 39 Kali Krishna Tagore Street, which is also the street address the trade-mark mirror gives Biswanath Hosiery Mills. Nothing is drawn from that.
On production, the annual report lists nine facilities across seven named places: Dankuni, Jagadishpur Hosiery Park and Sankrail Industrial Park in West Bengal, Tiruppur and Avinashi in Tamil Nadu, Ludhiana in Punjab and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, rated at “44+ Cr garment pieces” of yearly capacity. The presentation adds that part of the work is “Outsourced to job workers with strong company control”. Neither gives a share, a count of job workers or the plant that makes Lux Cozi.
The Lux Cozi Fine Vest (RN), code 108, is “100% cotton”, “fine combed”, and made from “the best and the finest Egyptian cotton”, with no certifier, standard or fibre-origin document named. Its “anti-persipirant fabric” and “Double reinforced shoulder strap seams” lines name no test either. The Air Cool White RN page states no fabric and makes no cooling claim.
Biswanath Hosiery Mills and the word LUX
Every mark detail here comes from QuickCompany, a privately run mirror of the Indian trade-mark register, not from the registry’s own screens. An entry shows whose name a filing stands in, for which goods, with what status and dates, including a use date the applicant claims for itself. It cannot show who knits, packs or sells a vest.
| Application | Mark | Class | Status | Filed | Use claimed from | Valid to |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2372291 | Lux Cozi (word) | 16, 24, 25, 35 | “Registered” | 30 July 2012 | 21 June 2002 | 30 July 2032 |
| 2365803 | Lux Cozi (device) | 25 | “Registered” | 18 July 2012 | 21 June 2002 | 18 July 2032 |
| 6153320 | Lux Cozi Boyz | 25 | “Registered” | 17 October 2023 | 12 November 2021 | 17 October 2033 |
QuickCompany mark pages, read 30 September 2026. Proprietor on each: “Biswanath Hosiery Mills Public”, 39, Kali Krishna Tagore Street, Kolkata.
The listing prints the same proprietor, shortened to “Biswanath Hosiery Mills”, on further class 25 marks shown as “Registered”, Lux Cozi Valour, Air Cool, Fine Scented Vest and Jeans among them; their detail pages were not opened.
ZaubaCorp carries BISWANATH HOSIERY MILLS LIMITED, CIN U18101WB1990PLC049677, an unlisted public company, “Active”, at “39, KALI KRISHNA TAGORE STREET”, Kolkata, its latest balance sheet on the mirror dated 31 March 2023. The mark pages’ “Biswanath Hosiery Mills Public” and the register’s “Biswanath Hosiery Mills Limited” are different strings, printed as each source gives them.
Lux’s side comes from its NSE disclosure of 23 April 2026, which follows a family settlement agreement in its promoter group executed the day before. It shortens Biswanath Hosiery Mills Limited to BHML, and says the principal “LUX” mark stays “the exclusive property of BHML at all times” and is to be “perpetually licensed in favour of LIL”. A revised brand licensing agreement with BHML was “approved and executed”, and three more with other entities cover non-Lux names. As read, the filing states no royalty and does not name the Lux Cozi marks when it refers to “the licensed brands”.
The board also looked ahead that day. The results for the quarter to 30 June 2026 record that it gave “in-principle approval for a proposed Scheme of Demerger” that would move Vertical A, Lux Cozi’s vertical, to a wholly owned subsidiary named Lux and Cozi Limited. On the documents read that is a proposal, not a completed step, and every Lux Cozi record read still names Lux Industries Limited.
Returns, warranty and who answers
The rules read are luxinnerwear.com’s, on a site that showed no cart that day. The undated terms want “faulty goods” reported to info@luxinnerwear.com “within 7 days of delivery”, say the company is “under no obligation to accept the return of perfect garments”, and say “We do not give cash refunds”. They also say “We give no warranty” on whether the goods suit a buyer’s purpose, and no page read sets a warranty period.
Every shopper-facing page read names Lux Industries Limited, and none names Biswanath Hosiery Mills. Contact runs through that email and +91 33 4040 2121. The terms, the privacy policy and the contact page name no grievance officer, and the home page’s SmartODR link leads to a portal for investor disputes, not shopper complaints.
The pages give three office addresses: Adventz Infinity in the footer, P.S Srijan Tech Park in the terms and on the contact page, 39 Kali Krishna Tagore Street on the exchange letterhead. On the marketplace Lux Industries sold every record opened; its own return rules for these listings were not read.
What Lux Cozi costs in India
No Lux Cozi price outside India was read and the brand’s site prints none, so there is no like-for-like pair; the marketplace is the only price record.
| Listings read | MRP, median | Paid, median | Paid ÷ MRP | Reduced |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lux Cozi facet, unfiltered, first 40 | ₹1,060 | ₹907 | 85.6% | 40 of 40 |
| 30 listings, filtered to T-shirts | ₹1,060 | ₹925 | 87.3% | 30 of 30 |
| Named two-pack of half-sleeve innerwear | ₹340 | ₹278 | — | Yes |
A large Indian fashion marketplace, Lux Cozi facet, read 30 September 2026.
The gap between tag and till is small: the median paid was ₹153 under the median MRP. Both medians are per listing, and a listing can be a multi-pack, as the named two-pack shows, so neither is a price per piece.
For how other Indian menswear labels’ packs and prices read, see the Van Heusen audit, the Peter England audit and the Allen Solly audit.
Checking a Lux Cozi is genuine
The terms, privacy policy and contact page say nothing about counterfeits or authorised sellers, so the checks rest on the marketplace records read on 30 September 2026.
Look for K. K. Tagore Street
All 20 records named Lux Industries Ltd, 39, K. K. Tagore Street, Kolkata, after “Manufactured By”. Another company or city there matches nothing read.
Note who sold it
LUX INDUSTRIES LIMITED sold every record opened. A different name on the invoice matches none of the records read.
Expect India and no importer
Every record declared India, with the importer field “Not Applicable”, “NA”, “-” or empty. An import line on a Lux Cozi vest is out of line with the records.
Weigh a steep cut
Median paid was 85.6% of median MRP, and the named two-pack went for ₹278 against ₹340. A pack far below its printed price is out of step with that shelf.
The record in India
The dated record around Lux Cozi is corporate. The marks above were filed from 2012 to 2023 and show “Registered”. The promoter group’s family settlement agreement was executed on 22 April 2026 and disclosed on 23 April with the revised licence; that day the board approved a demerger proposal in principle, and the results for the quarter to 30 June 2026 list Lux and Cozi Limited as a subsidiary from 22 May 2026.
In the documents read on 30 September 2026, FashionAudit did not find a decided case about the brand; the nil reaches no further than those documents. Nobody has ruled on the Lux Cozi paperwork as this page sets it out.
Who Lux Cozi is actually for
Lux Cozi suits a buyer after everyday cotton vests, trunks and innerwear T-shirts from a listed Indian company that prints its own name and Kolkata office on every record read, at a ₹907 median listing price on the day read, with shallow discounts. It suits less well someone who wants proof behind a fabric claim, a written warranty or a named grievance officer. Readers comparing everyday clothing prices can also turn to the Max Fashion audit.
Common questions
Which company is behind Lux Cozi?
Lux Industries Limited of Kolkata, listed on the NSE as LUXIND and on the BSE under code 539542. It was seller of record and the “Manufactured By” party on all 20 marketplace records opened on 30 September 2026, and it reports Lux Cozi in its Vertical A.
Why does another company’s name appear on the Lux Cozi trade marks?
The trade-mark mirror prints “Biswanath Hosiery Mills Public” as proprietor of the Lux Cozi marks, at Lux’s registered street address. Lux’s own filing, dated 23 April 2026, states that the principal LUX mark is the exclusive property of BHML, its short form for Biswanath Hosiery Mills Limited, and is “perpetually licensed” to Lux. The filing, as read, does not list the Lux Cozi marks by name.
Is Lux Cozi moving to a new company?
A move is proposed, not done. On 23 April 2026 Lux’s board gave in-principle approval to a proposed demerger; the results for the quarter to 30 June 2026 describe it as placing Vertical A, including Lux Cozi, in a subsidiary called Lux and Cozi Limited. Every marketplace record read on 30 September 2026 named Lux Industries.
Can I buy Lux Cozi on luxinnerwear.com?
Not on 30 September 2026. The site listed Lux Cozi products with sizes and descriptions but no prices, no cart and no buy button. The company names Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO, Zepto and Blinkit as its online outlets.
Is the Lux Cozi Fine Vest made of Egyptian cotton?
The product page says so, alongside “100% cotton” and “fine combed, cotton fabric”, but names no certifier, standard or source document. The marketplace records read declared India as country of origin, and no document read says where the fibre was grown.

Lux Cozi traces to one listed company without effort. Lux Industries sold every record opened, put its name and registered office on every “Manufactured By” line, and credits the brand with about ₹700 crore of gross sales.
The paperwork around the name brings in a second company. The mirror prints Biswanath Hosiery Mills, not Lux, on the Lux Cozi marks; Lux’s filing says the principal LUX mark is “perpetually licensed” to it; and a move into Lux and Cozi Limited is a board proposal, not a fact on the pack. The brand’s site showed no prices or cart, and its terms set a seven-day claims window, no cash refunds and no warranty of fitness for a buyer’s purpose.
A well-traced everyday vest at close to MRP, sold by Lux under a name the mirror prints to another Kolkata company.
