Powerlook is a Mumbai menswear brand known for printed shirts, relaxed trousers, jeans and co-ord sets aimed at young men. It began online and is now opening its own stores, with most pieces selling for ₹1,000 to ₹1,500.
It is a smaller brand than the names it competes with, at ₹175 crore of revenue in FY26, but a fast-growing one. Across the 47 Powerlook products we track, the typical piece sold for ₹1,154.
Powerlook is a genuine, founder-run Indian brand from Mumbai, and its clothes are made in India. At a typical selling price of about ₹1,150 it is reasonable value for trend-led men’s shirts and trousers. How it started
Powerlook was started in Mumbai in 2010 by two brothers, Raghav and Amar Pawar, inspired by street fashion. It grew as an online-first brand, selling through its own website and the big marketplaces.
The brand set itself a target of ₹300 crore in gross sales for FY25. In FY26 it reported ₹175 crore of net revenue, which is the money it keeps after discounts, returns and marketplace commissions.
Its next step is shops. In June 2026 the company said it had 13 stores and planned more than 50 by FY28 and over 100 by FY30, with a revenue target of ₹800 to ₹1,000 crore and a possible stock market listing by FY30.
Targets are the company’s own, reported by PTI in June 2026. Only the first bar is real today.
What they actually make
Powerlook is a menswear-only brand. Shirts are its biggest line, especially printed, striped and relaxed-fit styles, followed by T-shirts, jeans, track pants, cargo pants and matching shirt-and-trouser sets. The company has said it plans to add footwear, accessories, innerwear and athleisure.
The clothes are made in India. On 30 October 2026, three Powerlook pieces we checked on Myntra listed India as the country of origin, with Powerlook Apparels Private Limited of Goregaon, Mumbai, as the manufacturer or packer. Two were sold by Powerlook itself.

37 of 47 listings, or 79%, sold at 50% or more below MRP.
A ₹2,799 Powerlook shirt that sells for ₹1,007 is a ₹1,000 shirt, and that is the number to compare.
Powerlook’s discounts are deep, but it charges more than most budget labels. Its typical piece sold for ₹1,154, against ₹799 for Bewakoof and ₹1,498 for Snitch, which discounts far less.
Bars show the median discount off MRP. FashionAudit listings: Snitch 46, Powerlook 47, Bewakoof 27, Roadster 25.
Who Powerlook is actually for
Powerlook suits men in their late teens to early thirties who want a statement shirt, a relaxed trouser or a matching co-ord set for college, a party or a weekend, at about ₹1,000 to ₹1,500. Its strength is styles that look current without costing ₹3,000.
It is less suited to anyone after formal office shirts, or to women, since the brand makes menswear only. Buyers outside the big cities will mostly buy online for now, because its 13 stores are still few.

Growth targets are plans, not results
Reputation and controversies
In June 2026 Powerlook said it was weighing debt, equity or a mix of both to fund ₹40 crore to ₹50 crore of new stores.
The main thing to keep in mind is the gap between plans and results. The brand aimed for ₹300 crore of gross sales in FY25 and reported ₹175 crore of net revenue in FY26. The two figures measure different things, but its ₹800 to ₹1,000 crore goal for FY30 is a target, and readers should treat it as one.
In its category it competes most directly with Snitch and with the store labels of big retailers such as Max.
Buying it in India
Buy from Powerlook or a sold-by-Powerlook listing
Its own website and stores are the safest source. On Myntra and other marketplaces, look for listings sold by Powerlook.
Know the real price
Most Powerlook shirts sell for about ₹1,000 and jeans for about ₹1,450. Paying close to the MRP of ₹2,799 means you bought on a bad day.
Read the fabric
Shirts come in cotton and blends. For Indian summers, cotton shirts are usually the more comfortable choice, so check the fabric line before you buy.
Check the fit name
Relaxed and oversized fits are cut large on purpose. If you want a closer fit, look for slim or regular fit, or size down.

Common questions
Is Powerlook an Indian brand?
Yes. Powerlook is a Mumbai brand, started in 2010 by brothers Raghav and Amar Pawar and run by Powerlook Apparels Private Limited. The pieces we checked were made in India.
Who owns Powerlook?
Its founders run the company, Powerlook Apparels Private Limited, from Goregaon in Mumbai. It has no big group parent. In June 2026 it said it was considering outside funding for its store expansion.
Is Powerlook good quality?
For about ₹1,000 a shirt, it is fair value for trend-led casual wear. It is not a premium brand, so check the fabric line, read reviews for the exact item and compare it with Snitch and Bewakoof at their selling prices.
Does Powerlook have stores?
Yes, but few so far. In June 2026 Powerlook had 13 stores and said it plans more than 50 by FY28. Most shoppers buy through its website and marketplaces.
Is Powerlook better than Snitch?
They are close rivals. On 30 October 2026, Powerlook’s typical piece sold for ₹1,154 at a 57% discount, while Snitch’s sold for ₹1,498 at just 12% off. Powerlook is usually cheaper at the till; Snitch prices are steadier.

Powerlook is a real, founder-run Mumbai brand with clothes made in India, and at about ₹1,000 a shirt it is fair value for young men who want styles that look current.
Its MRPs are not: a median 57% discount makes the printed price meaningless. And the big numbers in its story, 100 stores and ₹1,000 crore, are goals for 2030, not achievements.
Buy Powerlook at ₹1,000 for the style, compare it with Snitch at the till, and ignore the MRP on both.
