Who owns Twelve South
The footer of twelvesouth.com reads “Twelve South LLC”, its terms state that “Twelvesouth.com is owned and operated by Twelve South, a South Carolina LLC”, and its About page gives 2009 as the founding year and “a small team of about 20, based in Charleston, South Carolina”. The company is not listed, South Carolina does not require a limited liability company to file an annual report, and no revenue figure is published. RedCloud Capital, a “Denver-based private equity firm” in its own words, lists Twelve South as a “Current” portfolio company, with no date and no word on whether the stake is a majority. No filing or release read records a change in the company’s ownership.

Its category filter splits it five ways: Dresses 1,422, Co-Ords 165, Tops 26, Shirts 4, Trousers 2; there is no sleeve, case, stand or watch band in it. The first 40 listings in facet order, 26 dresses and 14 co-ords, gave a median MRP of ₹4,949 and a median selling price of ₹2,129, or 43.0%; 39 of the 40 were below MRP. A Self Design Tunic with Trousers was ₹1,804 against an MRP of ₹4,499.
