Anouk: the name on 65,330 Myntra listings, and the 207 companies behind them

A register mirror names Myntra Designs as the applicant for the ANOUK mark. On 450 listings read one at a time, 207 companies declare themselves the manufacturer and Myntra Designs appears on none of them.

Anouk is one of the largest clothing names on any Indian shopping site. Myntra’s brand page counted 65,330 listings on 7 September 2026, with 11,511 under Anouk Rustic and 4,568 under Anouk Mirage — 81,409 in all, exactly what a plain search for the word gives that day.

Every packaged good sold in India carries a declaration naming who is answerable for it, and Myntra prints that block on each listing. On Anouk it does not give one answer. Across 450 listings read one at a time on 7 September 2026, spread over all 48 categories, 207 companies are declared as manufacturer and 167 are the seller of record — and Myntra Designs Private Limited is on none of them.

The short answer

Two things about Anouk are true at once. A trade-mark register mirror, read on 7 September 2026, names Myntra Designs Private Limited as applicant for ANOUK (LABEL) in class 25, applied 1 July 2013, status “Accepted & Advertised” rather than “Registered”.

And on the clothes, 207 companies declare themselves answerable across 450 listings read in full the same day, with Myntra Designs on none. Who owns the name and who answers for the garment are different questions with different answers here.

Price: 13,343 listings, 99.1% reduced, aggregate 28.3% of MRP. Median MRP ₹2,000, median price ₹608, on 7 September 2026.

Who is answerable for an Anouk garment

The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, notified on 7 March 2011, require every retail package to name the manufacturer with an address — or both manufacturer and packer where they differ — along with the goods’ generic name, the net quantity, the month and year of packing and the retail sale price. That block names who is legally answerable for the goods, not who sewed the garment, and the Rules allow a set of entities to be named rather than one. A spread of names is lawful and ordinary.

The spread on Anouk is the widest this site has measured: 238 manufacturer strings resolving to 207 companies, and 167 sellers of record, across 450 listings. On 379 of the 450 — 84.2% — the declared manufacturer is also one of the sellers, and the addresses sit in the Surat, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Noida clusters. On six listings the word “Anouk” itself fills the statutory manufacturer field, at three addresses with three sellers.

Brand What the declarations name Read on
Anouk 207 manufacturer companies and 167 sellers of record across 450 listings; Myntra Designs on none 7 September 2026
Libas One company, Zivore Apparel, as seller of record on 10,309 of 10,451 listings 7 September 2026
Reliance Trends Its own name on 137 of 155 listings 6 September 2026
Zara One manufacturer plus one importer 6 September 2026
V-Mart No manufacturer named at all 6 September 2026

One listing shows the shape. Style 17094592, a men’s printed kurta marked ₹2,099 down to ₹608, names Mokksha Designs of Chennai at listing level and Desi Rang of Jaipur at seller level, with Desirang Global Private Limited and Flashtech Retail as the sellers of record. Fifteen of the 423 listings carrying both levels name different companies at each, and none of that is irregular — it is what the Rules permit.

What the platform’s own data says about the name

Myntra’s product records carry system attributes, one of which marks a brand as “House of Brands”. Fifteen listings were read for each of twenty brands on 7 September 2026. The mark is on for Anouk on 13 of 15, and at 15 of 15 for Roadster, Mast & Harbour and Kook N Keech — three names a US trade-mark register records as Myntra Designs’ own property. It is off, at 0 of 15, for Biba, Libas, Soch, Global Desi, W, Aurelia and Indya, whose owning companies are established elsewhere from filings and declarations.

That is the platform’s own classification of its own catalogue, not a trade-mark record. It is worth printing because it separates cleanly in both directions on brands whose ownership is known from elsewhere, and Anouk sits with the first group.

One reading inside the same test has no explanation attached. Anouk Rustic — which a 2014 Myntra announcement named as one of Anouk’s three lines, beside Anouk core and Anouk Mirage — reads 0 of 15. Anouk Mirage reads 15 of 15.

Who owns the name, and what that rests on

The public trade-mark register did not give up its file on the day of reading, so nothing here is reported as absent from it. What exists is a register mirror, cited as an aggregator’s copy and not as the registry. Read on 7 September 2026 it carries ANOUK (LABEL), class 25, applicant Myntra Designs Pvt Ltd, applied 1 July 2013, status “Accepted & Advertised”. That is not “Registered”, thirteen years on, so this page does not write that the mark is registered, and the mirror keeps the application number behind a paywall.

A second register points the same way without reaching this mark. US records list Myntra Designs Pvt Ltd as owner of four clothing marks filed on 10 January 2019 — KOOK N KEECH, ROADSTER, DRESSBERRY and MAST & HARBOUR — and ANOUK is not among the four. That is one owner’s page on one register in one country: it shows Myntra Designs owns apparel marks in its own name, and nothing more.

The holding chain, in the company’s own words
  1. Myntra Designs Private LimitedBengaluru; revenue ₹6,042.7 crore FY2024-25
  2. FK Myntra Holdings Private LimitedSingapore; the holding company
  3. Flipkart Private LimitedSingapore; the intermediate holding company
  4. Walmart Inc., U.S.A.Ultimate holding company from 18 August 2018

Those steps are quoted from Myntra Designs’ FY2024-25 statements, published as a copy of the filed accounts by a news site, which show revenue of ₹6,042.7 crore against ₹5,121.8 crore and profit of ₹548.3 crore against ₹30.9 crore. The word “Anouk” does not appear in them and there is no segment reporting, so no Anouk revenue is disclosed. A 2015 target of ₹630 crore each for four in-house brands and a 2018 figure of 25% of revenues for fourteen brands name no brand between them.

Myntra’s own words belong beside the mirror. Its press release of 22 May 2025, launching Myntra Global in Singapore, lists “sought-after brands including, Aurelia, Global Desi, AND, Libas, … W, The Label Life, House of Pataudi, Chumbak, Anouk, Bombay Dyeing, Rare Rabbit and Nasher Miles”, and calls the set “our brand partners”. Aurelia, W, Global Desi and Libas all have owners other than Myntra, and the release does not set Anouk apart from them. Sangria, another name Myntra carries under the same House of Brands mark, is not in that release at all.

One more thing a shopper will meet: a site at theanouk.com calls itself “Anouk® … India Official Website” but publishes no company name, CIN or address on its contact page. No connection between it and Myntra Designs Private Limited is established, and nothing here comes from it.

What Anouk costs in India

The catalogue was walked category by category on 7 September 2026, giving 13,343 unique listings with the MRP, the price charged and the site’s own discount label. Of those, 13,220 were reduced — 99.1% — and 123 sat at MRP. Median MRP ₹2,000, median price ₹608, median discount 72.7%, deepest 90%. In aggregate, ₹3,30,19,111 of MRP was being charged as ₹93,31,813: 28.3% of MRP.

That is the deepest and most nearly universal reduction this site has measured. Reliance Trends charged 34.5% of MRP the day before, H&M 88.1%, Uniqlo 92.9%, Max Fashion 98.8%, and Zara had reduced 2.1% of its listings.

The fast reading was checked against a slow one: 450 of the 13,343 were re-read one at a time on their own product pages. The MRP agreed on 450 of 450, the price on 422, and 27 carried no price to compare against. One differed, ₹991 against ₹999.

Anouk also breaks a pattern three retailers set the week before, each pricing off a very short ladder. Counting distinct values answers what a median cannot: is this a price for this garment, or a slot on a grid?

Brand Listings Distinct MRPs Distinct discount percentages
Anouk 13,343 521 74
H&M 11,685 47 —
Uniqlo 1,307 23 —
V-Mart 100 9 —
Urbanic — — 7

Anouk read 7 September 2026, the other four 6 September 2026; a dash means the figure was not counted.

Five hundred and twenty-one distinct MRPs across 13,343 listings, with 74 distinct whole-number discount percentages, is not a grid. Of the MRPs, 10,573 end in 99; the commonest is ₹1,999, on 1,711 listings.

The countdown, and the coupon underneath it

Of the 450 listings read one at a time, 445 carried a discount block, and every one of them carried the words “OFFER ENDS IN”. None carried a start value — the field reads zero on all 445 — and all 445 carried an end value falling on 7 September 2026, the day of reading, between 7.6 and 12.0 hours away, median 11.6. There were 360 distinct end times, so the countdowns are scattered second by second across one evening rather than sharing an expiry. The five listings without a discount block were at MRP.

Uniqlo’s sale flags, read the day before, were the mirror image: a start value and no end date at all. One gives an offer a beginning and no end; the other an end and no beginning.

Underneath it sits a coupon. Of 3,000 listing records, 2,672 carried one on top of the reduced price — MYNTRAEXCLUSIVE on 1,239, MYNTRASAVE on 824, MYNTRAHALFPRICE on 453, MYNTRA300 on 155 — carrying end dates of 10 and 11 October 2026.

An eleven-hour countdown and a coupon dated a month out sat on the same listing on the same day.

The coupon is not Anouk’s alone. Read in one session across the first 100 listings of each brand’s facet, a coupon dated 10 or 11 October 2026 sat on 100 of W’s, 99 of Aurelia’s, 98 of Soch’s, 96 of Biba’s, 95 of Global Desi’s, 93 of Libas’s and 86 of Anouk’s. It is a shape the whole shelf shares.

Its worth can be measured. On 50 Kurtas listings, 47 carrying one, the median best price with the coupon was 19.9% of MRP and 65.0% of the reduced price — on one, MRP ₹2,199, charged ₹667, best price ₹433.

Worth knowing

Every price above is the top of the range, not the bottom — coupons and bank offers sit on the reduced price, so 28.3% of MRP is the most you would pay.

Whether the countdown resets is not established. Two dated readings exist — 14 of 14 listings timed on 6 September 2026, 445 of 450 on 7 September — and the site’s own field for a scheduled next offer is empty on all 3,000 records read. That is a fact about the field, not the practice, and no rollover is asserted.

Not a kurta label

The 65,330 listings under the brand facet split as Apparel 38,348, Accessories 23,207, Footwear 3,773 and Personal Care 2. More than a third of what carries the name is jewellery and bags — 5,196 mangalsutra listings, 4,012 jewellery sets, 3,819 pairs of earrings — plus 179 watches and 3,423 pairs of shoes. The largest single blocks are still Sarees 12,941, Kurta Sets 12,220 and Kurtas 6,567, and the split runs women 57,843 to men 8,963, so calling Anouk an ethnic-wear label describes a little under three-fifths of it.

Where else it sells

Anouk sells on one other marketplace, and that marketplace is in the same group. Flipkart’s brand facet held 15,730 Anouk listings in clothing and accessories alone on 7 September 2026, and its first page read 40 of 40 reduced, with ₹1,23,049 of MRP charged as ₹35,135 — 28.6% of MRP against Myntra’s 28.3% the same day. That rests on one page of 40, so take it as a soundings reading, and note that Flipkart here is the same owner selling at its own price rather than an independent reseller checking it. One Flipkart product page read in full declares India as the origin, leaves the manufacturer, packer and importer fields empty, and names no seller of record at all.

On the same day the brand was not listed on Ajio, where the word brings back 32 items across twelve other brands and no Anouk facet while the site’s Biba facet holds 2,236. Not on Tata CLiQ, whose 5,188 results carry a brand facet made up entirely of Aurelia and one Aurelia sub-brand. Not on Nykaa Fashion, where 296 items all belong to one unrelated brand. On Amazon.in no Anouk-branded listing was found and no brand facet is offered — but no facet sits behind that reading, so it is the weakest of the four findings.

No company statement, press report or store locator naming a physical Anouk shop was found — read that as nothing found rather than nothing there. Myntra’s own page is titled an “Exclusive Anouk Online Store”.

What the label does not tell you

Origin is the one complete field. India is declared on 450 of 450 listings at listing level and on 423 at seller level. The brand facet reports four of the 65,330 as China, and all four were opened and their written declarations read rather than trusted to the filter: four clutches, China at both levels, one Hong Kong manufacturer, one seller.

The rest is thinner. Net quantity appears on 370 of 450, mostly as “Piece” or “Pieces”. A fibre is named on 117 — 113 of the 165 apparel listings in the sample. A percentage composition, the 60% cotton and 40% polyester line a buyer can actually use, appears on none of the 450, and fabric purity on 14.

GSM — grams per square metre, the figure that says how heavy a fabric is — appears on none of the 450, and the catalogue has no attribute for it. Across 175 attribute keys the only weight field is “Watch Weight in g”, a watch specification. Eighteen brands into this site’s apparel work, none has published a GSM.

The advertising and court record

No advertising adjudication is filed under the Anouk name with the Advertising Standards Council of India, and that needs qualifying rather than reading as a clean bill. The council is a self-regulatory industry body, not a statutory regulator, and its file is built around objective claims such as efficacy, percentages and “No. 1”, which clothing makes almost none of. An empty apparel file says more about the category than about the brand.

Myntra Designs Private Limited has 19 rows of its own on that record, every one filed against “Myntra”, “Myntra.com”, “Myntrastylecast” or “Myntra (Black Friday Sale)”. None is Anouk, and none is attributed to Anouk here. Size is no guide to substance either: Urbanic has 43 upheld matters, every one about an influencer post carrying no advertisement label and not one about a garment or a product claim. On the court record, no judgment naming the Anouk brand alongside Myntra Designs Private Limited was found.

Who Anouk is actually for

The clothes are cheap and the range is enormous, and neither is a criticism. A ₹608 median for a kurta or a saree is real money saved, and 65,330 listings is more choice than any Indian ethnic-wear chain puts in front of a shopper. What a buyer does not get is continuity behind the name.

Check 01

Read the manufacturer, not the brand

Open the product details block and note the declared manufacturer. If you liked a kurta, that name is what to look for next time — two Anouk garments rarely come from the same company.

The second thing to do is price the garment rather than the discount: ask whether it is worth ₹608, not whether ₹2,099 down to ₹608 sounds like a bargain. Two ₹608 kurtas that both say “Cotton” can be quite different cloth, and with no composition and no fabric weight on any of the 450 listings, nothing on the page separates them.

Common questions

Is Anouk a Myntra brand?

A trade-mark register mirror read on 7 September 2026 names Myntra Designs Private Limited as the applicant for ANOUK (LABEL) in class 25, applied on 1 July 2013, with the status “Accepted & Advertised” rather than “Registered”. Myntra’s own press release of 22 May 2025 lists Anouk among “our brand partners” alongside Aurelia, W and Libas, and does not set it apart from them.

Who manufactures Anouk clothes?

There is no single answer. Across 450 listings read on 7 September 2026, 207 different companies are declared as the manufacturer and 167 are the seller of record. The declaration names who is legally answerable for the goods, not who sewed them, and the arrangement between Myntra Designs and those companies is not on any document that could be found.

Are Anouk discounts real?

The prices charged are real and they are low: 99.1% of 13,343 listings were reduced on 7 September 2026, at an aggregate of 28.3% of MRP. Whether the MRP is a price anyone was asked to pay is a separate question, and with 99.1% of the catalogue reduced on the day of reading, the reduced price is the ordinary one.

Where can I buy Anouk apart from Myntra?

Flipkart, which is in the same group, held 15,730 Anouk listings in clothing and accessories on 7 September 2026. On the same day the brand was not listed on Ajio, Tata CLiQ or Nykaa Fashion, and no Anouk-branded listing was found on Amazon.in. No physical Anouk shop is established.

Is theanouk.com the official Anouk website?

It describes itself as one. Its contact page publishes no company name, CIN, GST number or postal address, giving an email on hotmail.com and a telephone number on the Geneva dialling code. No connection between that site and Myntra Designs Private Limited is established, and nothing on this page is taken from it.

Does Anouk publish fabric weight or composition?

No. Of 450 listings read on 7 September 2026, none carried a percentage fibre composition and none carried a GSM figure. A fibre is named on 117 of them and fabric purity on 14. The only weight field anywhere in the catalogue is a watch specification.

The FA take

On price, Anouk is the strongest thing on this shelf and it is not close. A ₹608 median against a ₹2,000 median MRP, with 99.1% of 13,343 listings reduced and a coupon underneath most of them, buys more clothing per rupee than any brand this site has measured.

What you are not buying is a maker. Two hundred and seven companies declare themselves answerable across 450 listings and the company named on the mark appears on none, so the label promises nothing about where the next kurta comes from.

Buy the garment, at the price charged, from the declaration upwards — and read the name above it as a shelf label rather than a maker’s mark.
