Heel & Buckle London is a men’s and women’s leather footwear label owned and sold in India by Heel & Buckle Luxury Private Limited, a New Delhi company incorporated on 3 October 2016. The brand’s own About page says the company is part of the DAR Group, a Delhi business run by the Rajgarhia family.
The same page opens with a London story: the brand was “Launched as a bespoke studio in London’s Hampstead, in 2011”. Below, the published accounts of the brand’s start are set out by date.
Heel & Buckle London is run from India by an Indian private company, and every trade mark found for the name on a register mirror of the Indian trade-mark register stands with one of its directors. The brand’s About page dates it to a bespoke studio in Hampstead in 2011. It had no brand listing on Myntra on 22 September 2026, and no current price could be read.

Who owns Heel & Buckle London
The company behind the brand is Heel & Buckle Luxury Private Limited. Its corporate identity number tells most of the story on its own: U for unlisted, DL for Delhi, 2016 for the year, and PTC for an ordinary private company. It is not an FTC company, the code the register gives a subsidiary of a foreign company. The register mirrors CompanyDetails.in and Zauba Corp give the incorporation date as 3 October 2016 and the paid-up capital as ₹1 crore.
The company has three directors: two Rajgarhia family members, appointed on the day of incorporation, and a third appointed on 9 March 2017. Zauba also lists the directors on other boards, including DAR Housing Limited, and InstaFinancials gives the company’s contact address at the dargroup.in domain.
The brand’s own About page, in text read on 22 September 2026, describes the arrangement in one sentence: “The DAR Group from Delhi formed Heel & Buckle Luxury Pvt. Ltd. which is a subsidiary to The DAR Group and launched Heel & Buckle London and a luxury multi-brand retailer of footwear and accessories called Berleigh.” Retail4Growth described the company in November 2017 as “part of the family-owned DAR Group”.
“Subsidiary” is the brand’s word. No shareholder list or annual return was read, and no source names the DAR Group as a single registered company. Berleigh’s own site says Ashok Rajgarhia formed the DAR Group “With the inherited experience of 72 years”, and traces the family business to 1945. We tag no ownership type: a named corporate parent rules out Independent, and no filing read shows who holds the shares.
Heel & Buckle London’s founding story
The brand’s About page begins: “Launched as a bespoke studio in London’s Hampstead, in 2011, Heel & Buckle London has since its inception, had one overriding objective”. The same words appeared in a February 2020 Indian Retailer interview and in a December 2015 partnership release.
Heel & Buckle London is a leather footwear label run by a New Delhi company in the DAR Group.
The earliest two Indian trade marks were filed on 25 September 2012 and claim use “since 01 May 2012”, as the applicant stated it.

The 2014 report describes the Mumbai and Delhi stores of that period; the 2018 and 2020 reports describe the label under the Delhi company and the DAR Group.
Who holds the trade marks
The Heel & Buckle marks found on the QuickCompany mirror of the Indian trade-mark register are held by a director of the Delhi company.

QuickCompany mirror of the Indian trade-mark register, read 22 September 2026. Seven further marks for the name, filed between 2017 and 2026 in classes 18 and 25, show the same proprietor.
Twelve marks in all appeared under the name, all with the same proprietor. A mirror shows who holds a mark on the day it is read. The new applications of 23 March 2026 show the name is still being maintained this year.
Who makes Heel & Buckle London shoes
No factory or contract maker is named anywhere read. The closest statement is YourStory’s, in its own voice in January 2020: “The brand, which was started to bring international taste to local shores, has tied up with manufacturing units in Spain, Portugal, and China.”
The Delhi company’s registered activity points to leather goods. CompanyDetails.in gives “tanning and dressing of leather, manufacture of luggage handbags, saddlery, harness and footwear”; Zauba gives the narrower luggage and handbags code. FashionNetwork called the 2018 launch “Berleigh’s first foray into footwear manufacturing”.
The statutory declaration, which names the country of origin and the company answerable for the goods, is the one reliable place to settle this for a given pair. Myntra carried no brand listing to read it from on 22 September 2026.
No declaration for a Heel & Buckle London shoe was available to read, so no country of origin is given here for the goods. Treat the Spain, Portugal and China line as a 2020 press report, and read the box.
What Heel & Buckle London costs in India
No current price could be read. On Myntra on 22 September 2026 the brand had no listing of its own: a search for the name brought up other brands with London in their names.
The most recent price band found dates from February 2020. In the February 2020 Indian Retailer interview, the brand gave “starting price points” of ₹2,990 to ₹9,990 for women and ₹7,990 to ₹13,990 for men. Whether those figures included GST was not stated. The brand sells only in India, so there is no foreign price to set against them.
Without a current selling price, no price band is set here. A 2020 list price is a historical fact, not evidence of what a pair costs in September 2026.
The money
No revenue or profit figure for any year has been read from a filing. YourStory reported in January 2020 that the company turned over ₹4 crore to ₹5 crore a year. That is a press figure with no year attached, not a filed result.
InstaFinancials and TheCompanyCheck, two register mirrors, both record accounts filed to 31 March 2025; Zauba’s page carries 31 March 2023, probably an older snapshot. No funding round appears on Crunchbase or in any report found.
Stores and shelves
The brand’s retail history runs through Berleigh, the multi-brand shop the same company operates. Berleigh opened in Mumbai in April 2017 and at Ambience Mall, Delhi, in November 2017, which Retail4Growth called its third store in the country, at about 2,000 sq ft. Heel & Buckle London launched at the Delhi and Mumbai Berleigh stores on 5 July 2018. YourStory mentioned another Berleigh store in Delhi in January 2020. No store count from 2026 was found.
What the claims rest on
The brand sells itself on leather and craft. The 2018 launch copy promised shoes “Made from the finest quality Patina leather, burnished leather & suede”. The About page speaks of “superior craftsmanship with comfort fit”. Neither names a tannery, a tanning method or a certifier, and neither gives a number, standard or test.
“Luxury handcrafted footwear” was FashionUnited’s own description, in 2017, of the multi-brand shop rather than of the label. No source read makes a waterproofing claim for the shoes.
Read the origin and maker lines
The box carries the country of origin and the company answerable for the pair. For this brand, that is the only document that says where your shoe was made.
Ask who is selling
The brand publishes no authenticity check and no list of authorised sellers. Buy where the bill names Heel & Buckle Luxury Private Limited as the seller.
Authenticity and the record
No code, hologram, QR or serial check for the brand was found, and no list of authorised Indian sellers. The practical safeguard is buying from the company itself.
A search of Indian Kanoon on 22 September 2026 on “Heel & Buckle”, “Heel and Buckle”, “Heel & Buckle Luxury” and “Berleigh” showed no judgment. That covers Indian Kanoon only, not every consumer commission or district court, so read it as nothing found rather than a promise that nothing exists.
Who Heel & Buckle London is actually for
The label suits a buyer who wants a leather shoe from a Delhi retail group and can buy it in person, where the box and the bill can be read. It suits less well a buyer who wants a declared country of origin before paying: no declaration was available to read, and the only published statement about manufacture, from 2020, names Spain, Portugal and China.
Anyone weighing it against Red Chief, Bata or Bacca Bucci should know that on 22 September 2026 this brand offered no current price, no declaration and no filed revenue figure to compare.

What is solid about Heel & Buckle London is its Indian paperwork. An active Delhi company with ₹1 crore paid up runs it, a family group puts its name to it, and twelve trade marks on the register mirror sit with one of its directors. For a buyer who can hold the box and read the bill, that is a traceable company.
The harder part is comparison shopping. On 22 September 2026 there was no Myntra listing, no current price and no declaration to read, and the only published manufacturing statement, from 2020, names Spain, Portugal and China. Check the box for the country of origin before you pay.
A Delhi-run leather label best bought in person, where the box, the price and the bill can be read and judged against Red Chief or Bata.
