Andamen is an Indian menswear label from Gurugram selling shirts, polos, crews and trousers online, with its shirts priced ₹2,625 to ₹6,599 on its own site in September 2026. It launched in 2016, calls itself “bridge to luxury”, and no physical shop was found.
Two things about it stand out. The first is how close to MRP it sells on Myntra. Across a sounding of 100 Andamen listings read on Myntra on 11 September 2026, the shelf charged 98.7% of MRP, with 16 listings in a hundred reduced and two discount rungs across thirteen distinct MRPs.
The second is the company. Impulse International Private Limited is not an Andamen business that also does other things. It is an apparel sourcing and buying house with more than sixty client brands, and Andamen is one label inside it.
Andamen is owned and run by Impulse International Private Limited of Gurugram, an apparel sourcing and buying house with four directors. All forty marketplace product records read declared India as the country of origin. On Myntra on 11 September 2026 the brand charged 98.7% of MRP across 100 listings, median ₹3,999, with no listing in that sounding below ₹2,625; its own shop-all range started at ₹1,599 the same day.
Who owns Andamen, and what Impulse International actually is
The brand is the operating company’s own mark. Impulse International Private Limited owns andamen.com and is the company printed on the goods. There is no licensor and no franchise in what we read.

Four services that mirror the corporate register agree on the company number, the 22 April 1996 incorporation, the Gurugram office and the director table, which the register files under a general business activity code rather than as a garment maker.
Two of the four directors have held their seats since the day of incorporation. Siddharth Suri, the brand’s founder and chief executive, joined on 1 April 2010 — six years before Andamen existed.
Why the parent company changes how you read every number
Impulse International describes its own business as supply chain management and “a 360 service across the complete supply chain” — product development, sourcing, quality compliance and logistics — across clothing, footwear, accessories and home textiles. Its site shows more than sixty client logos, among them Flipkart, Myntra, Asda and Pepe Jeans India, and says it has been in business “over 40 years”. The company that owns Andamen was incorporated in 1996.
The Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, deciding two appeals involving the company, describes it plainly as “a buying house company”.

- 2026Sixty-plus client brands on its own client wall; Andamen is one label inside it
The sourcing business came first by decades.
That matters for one reason. Any revenue figure for the company covers the whole sourcing business, not the brand alone, and Andamen’s own revenue could not be established. No source we read separates the label’s sales from the sourcing business.
This page did not read the company’s filed accounts directly, so it gives no revenue figure for Impulse International.
Why this page files Andamen as independent
No shareholding pattern for Impulse International was available in the sources read, so this page does not say who holds what.
What it can say is that no outside holder was found at all — no investor, no funding round, no institutional stake, in any source read. There is no sentence anywhere that would prove outside control, and the founder’s position in April 2016 was that the brand was “self-funded right now”.
What Andamen costs in India
A hundred Andamen listings were read on Myntra on 11 September 2026. That is a sounding, not the catalogue, which carried 1,629 listings that day against 3,431 products on the brand’s own shop.

Two discount rungs across a hundred listings is a narrow spread. The brand’s own site shows a similar pattern in its sale collection.
Andamen’s Special Prices collection and the ₹2,625 price point
Andamen’s own shop runs a collection headed “Special Prices”, described as “Andamen favourites at up to 40% off”. It held 50 products on 11 September 2026 against 3,431 in the shop-all catalogue — about 1.5% of what the brand sells. Eight consecutive items read from it were each priced at ₹2,625.
| Product | MRP | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Jaguar Black Pique Polo | ₹2,999 | ₹2,625 |
| Alto White Pique Polo | ₹2,990 | ₹2,625 |
| Shell Off-White Cotton Crew | ₹3,599 | ₹2,625 |
| Ruby Beige Tipping Polo | ₹3,599 | ₹2,625 |
| Pure Black Waffle Polo | ₹3,599 | ₹2,625 |
| Swiss White Cotton Cable Knit Crew | ₹3,590 | ₹2,625 |
| Lagoon Blue Cotton Crewneck | ₹3,599 | ₹2,625 |
| Jaguar Black Crew | ₹3,990 | ₹2,625 |
Eight garments with MRPs from ₹2,990 to ₹3,990, each priced at ₹2,625 in the Special Prices collection on 11 September 2026.
The site labels those as 10%, 25% and 35% off. ₹2,625 was also the lowest price in the Myntra sounding and the bottom of the all-shirts collection’s ₹2,625 to ₹6,599 range the same day.
Across the wider shop-all collection, which spans categories beyond shirts and knitwear, prices started at ₹1,599, and Nykaa Fashion’s Andamen range started at ₹1,999.
What Andamen publishes about its own prices
Its terms say that prices are subject to change without notice and set at the company’s discretion, with no lowest-price guarantee, and that vouchers cannot be combined with sale discounts. The about page carries the line “Luxury is not a price”, a positioning line. This page reports what Andamen charged on the day it was read.
The near-full-MRP reading is a Myntra reading. Nykaa Fashion advertises the brand at up to 40% off, and Andamen’s own shop has run a sale by that name. Check the brand’s own sale collection as well as Myntra.
Against the other brands read the same day, 98.7% is near the top. Blackberrys charged 86.0% of MRP that day; only Manyavar at 100% with nothing reduced and Bershka at 99.5% held firmer. Andamen’s ₹3,999 median sits above Bombay Shirt Company, whose ready-to-wear page showed a ₹3,000 median the same day.
One comparison this page does not make is the global one. Andamen is an Indian brand making in India, so there is no foreign list price to set against the Indian one and no import duty in the argument at all.
Where Andamen clothes are made, and who answers for them
Forty Andamen product records were read in full on the marketplace on 11 September 2026. Every record named a manufacturer and a country of origin.
| Declaration field | What 40 records carried |
|---|---|
| Manufacturer named | Impulse International Pvt. Ltd. on 40 of 40 — one string, no blanks |
| Seller of record | The same company on 40 of 40 |
| Country of origin | India on 40 of 40 |
| Net quantity | Declared on 37 of 40 |
| Fibre composition | Published on 0 of 40 |
Two wordings, reported as read
The brand’s own product pages use a second wording. On andamen.com a shirt page reads “Designed & Marketed by: Impulse International Pvt. Ltd.”, while the marketplace records name the same company as manufacturer. Andamen also publishes a factory partners page naming five third-party garment makers — Raymonds in Maharashtra, Ashima in Ahmedabad, and Aurora, Suvastra and Apparrel360 in Karnataka.
On fibre composition the finding is channel-specific. Composition was published on none of the forty marketplace records. On andamen.com it is published: a shirt page read the same day carries “100% Egyptian Giza Cotton”, and fabric is a shoppable filter. The brand publishes composition on its own site and the marketplace records carried none.
What Andamen claims about fabric, and what stands behind it
Andamen markets on fabric more specifically than most brands we read. Its fabric filter carried 1,677 pure cotton products, 470 pure linen, 208 Egyptian Giza cotton and 59 pure merino wool on 11 September 2026, and product titles name the fibre outright. One social post goes further, naming a yarn count, an origin and a mill: two-ply 170s Egyptian cotton and French linen from Normandy, woven by David & John Anderson.
For the Egyptian Giza cotton on 208 products and the pure linen on 470, the product pages and fabric filter read do not cite a certificate, test or fabric mill. The factory partners page names garment makers rather than fabric mills.
The one claim that is certified, and how far it reaches
There is a real exception, worth stating precisely. The Woolmark Company’s own publication, in March 2024, says of Andamen’s Apex collection — over 30 pieces launched in November 2023, 100% Australian merino with 10% cashmere in some styles — that “all the products in the Apex collection are certified for quality by The Woolmark Company”, using Woolmark-certified yarns spun in Italy and China. That is the certifying body itself, and it is the strongest substantiation found for this brand.
Neither source covering the collection gives a micron count, the usual specification for merino. The certification is described for the Apex collection of over 30 pieces; the shop listed 59 pure merino products on 11 September 2026.
Who Andamen is actually for
Andamen suits a man in his thirties or forties buying a few plain, well-finished shirts and polos at ₹3,000 to ₹4,000 each, who would rather order online than be measured. That is the brand’s own stated customer: in 2016 the founder described him as upwardly mobile, 28 to 45.
It suits you less if you shop the sale calendar: on Myntra on 11 September 2026, 16 of 100 listings were reduced. It suits you less, too, if you want a shop to try things on in — none was found, the site carries no store link, and the last published statement on physical retail is from April 2016, when the brand said it had no store and was running trunk shows.
If the fabric is why you are buying, read the specifics. On the Apex merino, Woolmark states the certification itself. For the Giza cotton and linen, the pages read cite no test or certificate.
Reputation and what is on the record
Two decided matters were found, both tax appeals before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, both concerning the parent’s sourcing business and both predating the brand. Neither is a consumer, advertising or product-safety matter.
In an order dated 12 March 2019, the tribunal’s Delhi bench decided appeals for assessment years 2006-07 and 2009-10 to 2011-12 involving commissions paid to directors. It allowed the company’s appeal and dismissed the revenue’s. In an order dated 16 June 2020, for assessment year 2012-13, the same bench dismissed both revenue appeals against the deletion of director-commission disallowances of ₹2.74 crore and ₹6.17 crore, finding the payments were about 1.05% of order values. Both were decided at tribunal stage and neither order records a further appeal.
Beyond those, we found no consumer commission order, product recall, regulatory action, weights-and-measures prosecution or trademark judgment against Andamen or Impulse International. Treat that as nothing found rather than nothing there.
Buying Andamen in India
Read the seller name, then the maker
On all forty records read on 11 September 2026, Impulse International Pvt. Ltd. was named as both manufacturer and seller, and India as the origin. If another seller is named, you are buying from that seller rather than from the brand.
Know the usual sale price
On 11 September 2026 the polos and crews read in the Special Prices collection were priced at ₹2,625, and the lowest Myntra listing in the sounding was the same. If a listing is far below Andamen’s own prices, check who the seller is.
Check the brand’s own rail as well as the marketplace
The Special Prices collection held 50 products against a 3,431-product catalogue, and Nykaa Fashion advertises the brand at up to 40% off. The rails do not price identically, so compare before buying.
Get the composition before you pay for the fibre
None of the forty marketplace records carried a fibre composition. The brand’s own product pages do. If you are buying the Giza cotton or the linen specifically, buy where the composition is printed.
Know which merino is the certified one
The Woolmark certification is described for the Apex collection of just over 30 pieces, and the shop lists 59 pure merino products. If the certification is why you are buying, ask which collection the garment belongs to.
Common questions
Does Andamen ever go on sale?
Yes, but narrowly. On Myntra on 11 September 2026, 16 of 100 listings were reduced and the shelf collected 98.7% of MRP. On andamen.com the Special Prices collection held 50 products out of 3,431, and Nykaa Fashion advertises the brand at up to 40% off. The discounts exist; they are just not broad.
Who owns Andamen?
Impulse International Private Limited of Gurugram, incorporated on 22 April 1996, which owns the site, is named on the goods and runs a much larger apparel sourcing business alongside the brand. Its board has four directors. The shareholding pattern was not available in the sources read, so this page does not state who holds what.
Is Andamen an Indian brand, and are the clothes made in India?
Yes on both. The company is Indian and registered in Haryana, and all forty product records read on 11 September 2026 declared India as the country of origin. The brand also publishes a factory partners page naming five Indian garment makers in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka.
Is Andamen’s Egyptian Giza cotton verified?
Andamen names the fibre in product titles, in compositions on its own site and across 208 products in its fabric filter. The pages read do not cite a certificate, test or mill for it, or for the pure linen.
Is the Woolmark certification real?
Yes, and it is stated by the certifying body itself. The Woolmark Company’s own publication of March 2024 says every product in Andamen’s Apex collection is certified for quality by it, using Woolmark-certified yarns spun in Italy and China. No micron count is published, and the certification is described for that 30-piece collection rather than for all 59 merino products now listed.
Does Andamen have a store I can visit?
None was found. The site’s navigation carries no store link and the contact page gives only the corporate office in Gurugram. The last published statement on physical retail is from April 2016, when the founder said the brand had no store and was using trunk shows and exhibitions instead.

Andamen does the boring things properly. One company named as maker and seller on all forty records, India declared on every one, five factory partners named, and a Woolmark certification on the Apex merino stated by Woolmark itself.
The evidence is thinner on fabric. Egyptian Giza cotton on 208 products and pure linen on 470 are named, but the pages read cite no certificate or test for them. Discounts are narrow on Myntra: 98.7% of MRP collected on 11 September 2026, with 16 of 100 listings reduced.
At a ₹3,999 Myntra median on 11 September 2026, Andamen is a clearly labelled, India-made shirt at a premium price — good value if you want plain, well-finished basics, less so if you buy for the Giza or linen label alone or wait for sales.
