Best Watches Under ₹25,000 in India: What That Money Buys

What ₹25,000 buys in a watch in India: a Titan or Fossil automatic at ₹24,495, or a Michael Kors with no stated movement for the same money. Read 25 Sep 2026.
FashionAudit buying guide: the headline “Best Watches Under ₹25,000 in India” over a steel dive-style watch beside a field watch on an olive canvas strap, on wet stone

Who this is for

You have ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 and want this to be the last watch you buy for a few years. Prices checked September 2026.

This is the band where the shelf stops agreeing with itself: at ₹24,495 it sells a movement and a label side by side. Every figure below came from one Indian marketplace’s listings read on 25 September 2026; a brand’s own store may price differently, and where MRP and selling price differ, both appear. For the bands below, see our wider overview of watches in India.

What ₹25,000 actually buys you

A mechanical movement at full price, without hunting. Six of the nine listings in this band were automatics selling at their printed MRP.

An automatic has no battery: it runs on a spring the wearer’s movement keeps wound. Steel is standard, bracelets more often than leather. No listing named a crystal, case size or rating, so nothing below claims one.

₹25,000 also buys a service relationship: a mechanical watch needs periodic servicing, a quartz one needs a battery. Titan has service counters in most Indian cities; check the brand’s own service locator before buying.

Now the split that decides the band. On 25 September 2026 a Titan Mechanical Automatic, a Fossil automatic and a Michael Kors chronograph all listed at ₹24,495. Same money, same day, same shelf.

What that money holds is not necessarily the same kind of object. Two are named as mechanical: springs, gears, a rotor. The third’s listing names no movement. Both kinds are legitimate buys; the mistake is paying for one believing you bought the other.

The labels also arrive here by discount more often than the movements do. Across 60 Michael Kors listings the median MRP was ₹20,495 against a median selling price of ₹12,998; across 28 Coach listings, ₹16,125 against ₹13,072. Titan’s median across 105 listings and Fossil’s across 34 sat at 100% of MRP, all on 25 September 2026. The MRP says where the brand placed the watch; the price says what one marketplace asked.

How we picked

Nothing here was handled, put on a wrist or put through any trial. This is desk work on one day’s listings, and it leaves holes: how a bracelet is finished, how a clasp shuts, whether a mechanical movement keeps its rate.

Inclusion needed three things — a named reference, a price from ₹10,000 to ₹25,000 on 25 September 2026, and a brand this site has either audited or can price from the sample.

The picks

Titan Mechanical Automatic Nt90110nm01, black dial — ₹24,495

₹24,495, at MRP, on 25 September 2026.

Good: a mechanical movement at its printed MRP; Titan discounted 11 of 105 listings. Bad: no crystal, case size or water resistance figure in the listing, and quartz keeps better time than mechanical at every price. Skip it if you want a watch that sits in a drawer for a fortnight and still reads right.

Titan Vintage Concealed Automatic 90110QM03 — ₹24,495

₹24,495, at MRP, on 25 September 2026. Same 90110 family; the silver-dial Nt90110wm0 in the table is the third treatment, at ₹24,525.

Good: the least showy Titan automatic at this money, for anyone disliking a visible rotor. Bad: “Concealed” is a styling word from the listing and nothing more, and no case size or rating is stated. Skip it if you cannot see the dial in daylight first.

Titan skeleton automatic, steel bracelet — ₹24,745

₹24,745, at MRP, on 25 September 2026. The dearest here.

Good: an open dial showing the movement working, on a steel bracelet, at MRP. Bad: a skeleton dial trades legibility for the view of the movement, and the listing carried no model reference. Skip it if the seller cannot name a reference to check the warranty against.

Fossil automatic, textured dial, steel — ₹24,495

₹24,495, at MRP, on 25 September 2026.

Good: a mechanical movement from a brand whose median listing sold at 100% of MRP, in a looser design language than Titan’s. Bad: no model reference, and nothing in the listing about Indian service. Skip it if your city has no counter for the brand.

Michael Kors Bryant MK7541, rose gold — ₹24,495

₹24,495, at MRP, on 25 September 2026.

Good: it sat at MRP, and the listing photographs show a rose-gold bracelet rather than another steel one. Bad: no movement named in the listing, and the brand’s median across 60 listings was ₹12,998 against ₹20,495. Skip it if you are buying for the movement.

Michael Kors chronograph, stone-set dial, MK5 series — ₹24,495

₹24,495, at MRP, on 25 September 2026.

Good: a stone-set dial and chronograph layout for what a plain steel automatic asks. Bad: the listing states no movement, and a fashion chronograph at this money is almost certainly quartz — our inference, not a specification. Skip it if the sub-dials have to do something you will use.

Coach Cadie bracelet 14504197 — MRP ₹25,370, ₹24,102

₹24,102 against an MRP of ₹25,370, on 25 September 2026 — the only pick whose MRP sits above the band’s ceiling.

Good: the listing photographs show a bracelet closer to jewellery than to a watch strap. Bad: the brand’s median listing was 70% of MRP across 28 listings, no movement is stated, and a bracelet is what a listing cannot vouch for. Skip it if you want a watch rather than jewellery.

Fastrack Automatic 2, green dial 3318SM01 — ₹12,495

₹12,495, at MRP, on 25 September 2026. The cheapest automatic in the band by a wide margin.

Good: half the price of every other mechanical watch here, at MRP, from a brand that discounted none of its 19 listings. If your budget is nearer ₹15,000, this is the pick — the Fastrack audit covers who owns the brand. Bad: styled young, and at half the price expect less case and bracelet work — the listings do not say how much less. Skip it if the watch must look right in a formal setting for a decade.

The table carries every listing our sample recorded here. Movement comes from the product name where it says Automatic or Mechanical; the Michael Kors and Coach listings named none, and quartz at this price is our inference, not a stated specification.

What to avoid at this price

  • Paying a mechanical price for a quartz watch by accident. At ₹24,495 the shelf sells both, and the word Automatic or Mechanical in the product name is the cheapest check.
  • Choosing by the size of the discount. Two watches can both cost ₹24,495 while one is listed at its MRP and the other well below it. What differs there is the catalogue price behind the watch.
  • Buying an automatic with no service plan. Ask where the nearest authorised service centre is.
  • Assuming sapphire or swimming. No listing in our sample stated either.

Where to buy safely

The safest counter is the brand’s own, or one it has appointed. A guarantee is worth whatever the paperwork behind it is worth, so insist on a GST bill in your own name.

One marketplace supplied every price on this page, and shopping there is legal. Two things need checking: who is despatching the watch, and whether the guarantee card arrives stamped. The site’s watches listings and its Titan pages show what a current reference goes for.

Counterfeits, sold in India as “first copy” watches, can carry any well-known label. The signals: a price well under ₹24,495, no invoice, no stamped warranty card.

Common Questions

At ₹24,495, Titan Mechanical Automatic or Michael Kors chronograph? Titan if you care what is inside, Michael Kors if you care what is seen. Both at ₹24,495, at MRP, on 25 September 2026 — the Titan listing names a mechanical movement, the Michael Kors names none.

Can I swim or shower with any of these? Treat none as swim-safe. No listing in our sample stated a water resistance rating, and with no figure on the case or the papers, rain is the sensible limit. Ask the counter for the rating in writing.

My real budget is nearer ₹15,000. Is the Fastrack Automatic 2 at ₹12,495 enough? For a first mechanical watch, yes — the cheapest automatic in our sample for this band, at its MRP on 25 September 2026. The extra money at ₹24,495 buys finish, not better timekeeping.

What will these cost me after I buy them? An automatic needs periodic servicing, which means opening the case. A quartz watch needs a battery and eventually a gasket. Neither cost appeared in our sample, so ask the service centre.

Should I look at Seiko or Citizen at this money instead? Possibly, and this sample cannot price it — no Seiko or Citizen listing appears in our price sheet for this band. Both are audited here.

The verdict

Buy the Titan Mechanical Automatic Nt90110nm01 at ₹24,495, MRP ₹24,495, on 25 September 2026. At a price where the shelf also offers watches with no stated movement for the same money, this gives you a mechanical movement at its own MRP, from the brand whose listings held their price on 94 of 105 readings.

It is wrong for two buyers. If you want the watch noticed before it is admired, the Michael Kors Bryant MK7541 at the same ₹24,495 does that and a steel automatic never will. And if ₹24,495 is a stretch, the Fastrack Automatic 2 3318SM01 at ₹12,495 is the same idea for half the money — less finish, the same kind of movement.
