DressBerry brand audit cover card from Fashion Audit

DressBerry is a women’s fashion label owned by Myntra. It sells tops, dresses, jeans, jackets, bags, sandals, watches and even innerwear, and most pieces sell for ₹500 to ₹1,500. It has been on Myntra since 2013.

It looks like one brand, but the products come from many different makers, some in India and some abroad. Across the 23 DressBerry products we track, the typical piece sold for ₹911.

The short answer

DressBerry is Myntra’s own women’s label, sourced from many outside makers, so quality depends on the item more than on the brand name. At a typical ₹911 it is reasonable value for young women’s casual fashion. Its MRPs are inflated, with a median 68% discount. Read the maker and country of origin on each listing, because a DressBerry watch and a DressBerry top may share nothing but the logo.

How it started

Myntra launched DressBerry in 2013 as part of its push into in-house labels, aimed at women aged 18 to 30. Prices in 2014 were reported as ₹249 to ₹1,999, which is close to what the brand really charges more than ten years on.

In July 2014, Myntra signed Kangana Ranaut as the face of the brand. By 2015, DressBerry was reported among Myntra’s highest-selling labels, along with Roadster and HRX. It remains one of the older names in the Myntra family.

What they actually make

DressBerry covers far more than clothes. The 23 products we track include jackets, jeans, tops, hoodies, sandals, handbags and a watch.

Myntra does not make these itself, and the makers vary widely. On 30 October 2026, a DressBerry watch on Myntra listed “China, India” as the country of origin and named Pioneer Exports, with a Hong Kong address. Two innerwear items listed India, with Vachi Creations of Delhi named on one.

A DressBerry watch and a DressBerry top may share nothing but the logo, so judge each product on its own listing.

Who DressBerry is actually for

DressBerry suits young women who want casual tops, jeans, bags and sandals in current styles for about ₹500 to ₹1,500, and who shop on Myntra anyway. It is a simple one-stop label for that.

It is less suited to buyers who want a brand to stand for consistent quality across products. A watch or a bra from DressBerry is made by different specialists from those who make its jackets, so read reviews item by item.

Where it wins

Wide range at ₹500 to ₹1,500

Easy returns through Myntra

Long-running label, since 2013

Where to be careful

Makers vary from item to item

Some items are imported, not made in India

MRPs are about three times the real price

Reputation and controversies

DressBerry has no separate public accounts because it sits inside Myntra. The fair point for buyers is the nature of a store label: Myntra owns the name, chooses the makers and controls where the items appear on its own app.

That is normal in retail, and it has run this way for more than a decade. It does mean the logo tells you less than the maker line on the listing does.

Buying it in India

Check 01

Read the maker and origin line

Open Product Details on Myntra. It names the maker and the country of origin, which differ by item.

Check 02

Ignore the discount badge

60% to 70% off is the normal price. Compare the selling price with similar items, not with the MRP.

Check 03

Be careful with accessories

Watches and bags are made by specialists abroad or in India. Judge these by reviews of the exact item, not by the brand.

Check 04

Check reviews with photos

With so many makers, photos from real buyers tell you more than the brand name does.

You can compare current DressBerry prices on our DressBerry shop page.

Common questions

Is DressBerry a Myntra brand?

Yes. Myntra launched DressBerry in 2013 as an in-house women’s label. Myntra is part of the Flipkart group, which Walmart controls.

Is DressBerry an Indian brand?

It is owned by an Indian company, Myntra. Many clothes are made in India, but some products are not: a DressBerry watch we checked listed China and India as the country of origin.

Who makes DressBerry products?

Outside makers, and they differ by item. We saw Pioneer Exports with a Hong Kong address on a watch, and Vachi Creations of Delhi on innerwear. Each listing names its maker.

Is DressBerry good quality?

It is fair for the price, at about ₹900, but quality depends on the item and the maker. Read reviews of the exact product rather than relying on the brand name.

Why is DressBerry always on sale?

Its MRPs are far above its real prices. In our check, 20 of 23 listings sold at 50% or more below MRP, with a median discount of 68%.

The FA take

DressBerry has been Myntra’s reliable young women’s label since 2013, and at about ₹900 it offers plenty of choice for little money, with easy returns.

It is a logo more than a maker. Different factories make its jackets, watches and innerwear, in India and abroad, and a median 68% discount shows the MRP is not a real price.

Buy DressBerry item by item, trust the maker line and reviews over the logo, and never pay near the MRP.
