Invictus brand audit cover card from Fashion Audit

Invictus is a men’s smart-wear label owned by Myntra, selling shirts, trousers, kurtas, loafers, blazers and jackets. Most pieces sell for ₹500 to ₹1,000, and it is sold through Myntra.

Its pitch is the office look for far less than a showroom brand charges. Across the 15 Invictus products we track, the typical piece sold for ₹689, and a blazer on Myntra marked ₹6,499 sold for ₹1,819.

The short answer

Invictus is Myntra’s own menswear label, made by outside suppliers in India. At a typical ₹689 for a shirt and about ₹1,800 for a blazer, it is a cheap way to look smart, though Van Heusen and Allen Solly are not far above it on shirts. Its median discount is 67%, so judge a ₹2,299 MRP item as a ₹689 one, and check the fabric, especially on formal wear.

How it started

Invictus was listed among Myntra‘s in-house labels by December 2015, alongside Roadster, Anouk and others. Reports in 2023 described it as one of more than 20 “master brands” Myntra had launched in recent years.

When Myntra cut back its in-house business in July 2023, it named Roadster, HRX and Mast & Harbour as the labels it would focus on. Invictus was not on that list, but it remains on sale, and we found no report that it has been closed.

What they actually make

Shirts lead our list, with trousers, loafers, jackets and T-shirts behind them. On Myntra, the range also runs to kurtas and single-breasted blazers.

Outside suppliers make the clothes. On 30 October 2026, two Invictus kurtas on Myntra named House of Kaashi, Udhana Road, as maker and seller, and a blazer named Indian Connection of Delhi, sold by Flashstar Commerce. All three listed India as the country of origin.

That chart is worth a careful look. Van Heusen sold for a typical ₹739 on our list, only ₹50 more than Invictus, and it has showrooms and a longer record. Allen Solly and Peter England cost about ₹300 to ₹400 more.

Who Invictus is actually for

Invictus suits a young professional who wants a smart shirt, a kurta for a function, or a first blazer on a tight budget. A blazer at about ₹1,800 is a useful backup for an occasional event.

It is the wrong choice if you wear formal clothes every day and care about fabric and fit. Tailored clothes show their quality quickly, and it is hard to judge a blazer’s fit from a phone.

Reputation and controversies

Invictus has little public record, since it sits inside Myntra with no separate accounts. Nothing we found says Myntra is closing it, but it was not among the three labels Myntra named in 2023. That is worth knowing if you want to buy matching pieces later.

As with every store label, Myntra owns the brand and also controls how it appears on its own app.

Buying it in India

Check 01

Check the fabric on formal wear

For shirts, cotton is usually cooler than polyester blends. The fabric line is in Product Details.

Check 02

Compare with a showroom brand

Check a Van Heusen shirt at the same price before you decide. The gap is often small.

Check 03

Use the return window on blazers

Order, try it on with a shirt, and return it if the shoulders do not sit right.

Check 04

Ignore the MRP

60% to 80% off is normal. Compare the selling price, not the discount.

Common questions

Is Invictus a Myntra brand?

Yes. Invictus was listed among Myntra’s in-house labels by December 2015, and it is still sold on Myntra. Myntra is part of the Flipkart group, which Walmart controls.

Who makes Invictus clothes?

Outside suppliers. On 30 October 2026 we saw House of Kaashi on kurtas and Indian Connection of Delhi on a blazer. All listed India as the country of origin.

Is Invictus good for office wear?

It is fine as a cheap option or backup at about ₹700 a shirt. If you wear formal clothes daily, compare fabric and fit with a showroom brand at a similar price.

Is Invictus better than Van Heusen?

Not clearly. On 30 October 2026 Invictus sold for a typical ₹689 and Van Heusen for ₹739 on our lists, with different items. Van Heusen has showrooms where you can try the fit.

Why is Invictus so cheap compared with its MRP?

Its MRPs are far above real prices. 14 of the 15 listings we checked sold at 50% or more below MRP, with a median discount of 67%.

The FA take

Invictus is a cheap way to look smart: about ₹700 for a shirt and ₹1,800 for a blazer, made in India and backed by Myntra’s returns.

The catch is the competition. A Van Heusen shirt sold for only about ₹50 more on our list, with showrooms and a longer record. And Invictus was not one of the labels Myntra named as its focus in 2023.

Buy Invictus for an occasional blazer or kurta, and for daily office shirts, check Van Heusen first.
