A Nasher Miles cabin trolley carries a printed MRP of ₹12,995 and sells for ₹2,399. That is 81% off, checked on 31 August 2026. Every Nasher Miles product page carries a country-of-origin declaration, and across the range those declarations name India, China or both.
Nasher Miles is an unlisted, founder-led Mumbai company whose founders describe its luggage as sourced. Across 18 listings read on 31 August 2026, 4 of 16 luggage products declared India alone as the country of origin, 9 declared China or PRC and 3 named both. Cabin trolleys sold at ₹2,399 to ₹5,299 against MRPs of ₹9,995 to ₹14,499. The published warranty policy sets tiers of up to three years; two listings mention five years on the shell.

How it started
Every profile of Nasher Miles dates it to 2017. The brand is that young. The company behind it is not.
Nasher Miles Private Limited was incorporated on 15 February 1990 as Shree Girinag Traders Private Limited, then renamed. Both founder-directors, Abhishek Maniklal Daga and Lokesh Daga, were appointed on 30 September 2017. The About Us page also names Shruti Kedia Daga as a founder.

Launching a direct-to-consumer brand through an older registered company is common in Indian business. The company’s registered activity code is NIC 5190, other wholesale.
A bridge round of US$4 million valued the company at US$30 million post-money, and external funding reached ₹38 crore by May 2025. The backers include Singularity Early Opportunities Fund and individuals who work at SoftBank Vision Fund, Goldman Sachs and CVC Capital Partners. They invested personally; the firms they work for are not investors.
A register summary published by TheCompanyCheck shows revenue of ₹167.79 crore for the year to March 2024, up about 16%. The founders gave the trade press a sales figure of ₹100 crore for FY 2023-24 (IndiaRetailing, March 2025) and ₹120 crore for FY 2024-25 (Entrepreneur India, May 2025). The register figure is the company’s filed revenue for its financial year; the press figures may be measured on a different basis or perimeter.
What they actually make
The range is hard-shell trolleys in polypropylene and polycarbonate, a smaller soft-sided line, backpacks and travel accessories. The Harry Potter collection is a genuine Warner Bros. Discovery licence, announced on 26 May 2026 — worth saying, because unlicensed Harry Potter goods are common in Indian markets.
Where the bags come from is the harder question, and the brand answers it itself. Nasher Miles carries a full Legal Metrology block on every product page checked: country of origin, MRP, net quantity and the packer’s address. The counts below come from those declarations.
| Country of origin declared | Luggage (16) | Backpacks (2) |
|---|---|---|
| India alone | 4 | 2 |
| China or PRC alone | 9 | 0 |
| Both India and China | 3 | 0 |
Legal Metrology declarations on 18 nashermiles.com product pages, read 31 August 2026.
Other published figures differ. The trade publication d2cinsider Pulse reported on 28 May 2026 that the entire portfolio is 100% Made in India; that figure is the publication’s report, not a line on the brand’s own site. The About Us page, read on 31 August 2026, says 70%.
On 31 August 2026, 4 of 16 Nasher Miles luggage listings declared India alone as the country of origin.
- About UsDates Indian manufacturing to 2021–22
- 24 May 2025Press: previously 88% import-dependent, aiming at 70% local
- 4 August 2025Founder: 0% to 65–70% India-based in 18 months
- 28 May 2026Trade report: the portfolio is 100% Made in India
- 31 August 2026About Us says 70%; luggage listings declare India on 4, China or PRC on 9, both on 3
The pattern inside the sample matters as much as the count. Both polycarbonate models declare China, but polypropylene is genuinely mixed: Springfield, Paris, Goa and Cairo declare India, while Boston, Mumbai, Alexandria and three sets declare China. Material does not predict origin here. Both backpacks declare India.
Three listings declare two countries at once. The Vienna cabin reads “India , PRC”; the Antwerp and the Nicobar read “India, China”. On those three listings the declaration does not say which country a given unit came from.
These counts come from 18 listings read on 31 August 2026. Origin varies by model, not by material, so read the declaration on the exact bag you are buying rather than trusting the range.
Does it own factories? No source found says so. Its registered activity code is wholesale, the product pages name the Mumbai office as the packer’s address, and the founders describe the luggage as sourced.
The Berlin 24-inch check-in page describes the bag’s material in three ways: the title says soft-sided polycarbonate, the specifications table says polyester and the body copy says Dobby Nylon and Micro PU. The Istanbul is titled polycarbonate and described as co-extruded ABS with a PC film.
What Nasher Miles costs in India
There is no home market abroad to compare against here. The useful gap is the MRP the brand declares against the price it charges.
- Declared MRP, Springfield 20-inch cabin
- ₹12,995
- Selling price
- ₹2,399
- Gap
- 81% off
- Checked on
- 31 August 2026
That is not an outlier. On 31 August 2026 hard luggage ran 63% to 81% off: cabin trolleys at ₹2,399 to ₹5,299, check-in sizes at ₹3,199 to ₹4,899, sets of three at ₹8,499 to ₹14,499.
In all 18 listings the statutory MRP matched the struck-through price exactly, so the discount is calculated against a declared number. With every listing checked selling well below MRP, the selling price is the better guide to value, as it is with Campus, Sparx and Liberty.
GST on luggage is 18% under HSN 4202. There is no anti-dumping duty on suitcases and no Quality Control Order making BIS certification compulsory, so do not look for an ISI mark on a trolley bag.
The returns policy allows seven days, with goods unused and in original packaging. But items bought during sale events are non-returnable, with damaged or wrongly delivered goods the only exception. The site was running a Rakhi Sale on 31 August 2026 and every listing checked carried a discount. Check whether your purchase counts as a sale-event purchase before relying on the seven-day window.
Who Nasher Miles is actually for
This suits a buyer who wants colour and a hard shell under ₹3,000 and is not pretending it is a lifetime purchase.
It is not for a buyer who needs a specific country of origin: four of sixteen luggage listings declared India alone on 31 August 2026. Nor is it for a frequent flyer counting on cover, since transit damage is excluded.
Reputation and controversies
The warranty terms on two listings differ from the warranty policy. The Warranty and Service page and the FAQ set the same tiers — 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years by product, with 1 year on accessories. Three years is the ceiling in both.
| Product | What the listing advertises | What the policy allows |
|---|---|---|
| Polypropylene trolleys | 3 years on shell | Within the tiers |
| Polycarbonate trolleys, Berlin soft | 2 years on shell | Within the tiers |
| Alexandria 20-inch cabin | 5 years on shell | Tiers listed go up to 3 years |
| Capri set of 3 | 5 years on shell | Tiers listed go up to 3 years |
| Backpacks | 12 months against defects | Within the tiers |
Product pages and the Warranty and Service page, nashermiles.com, read 31 August 2026.
A buyer of the Alexandria or the Capri who expects five years of cover should confirm the term with the brand, since the published policy lists tiers of up to three years.
The policy has clear strengths. It names the covered parts — zipper, pullers, lock, pick-up handle, telescopic handle, wheels, rubber bushes and logo — and needs no warranty card, since the invoice and order ID do the job. Against that, normal wear and tear is excluded, and wheels and zips fail through wear. Cover is not transferable, and the customer pays freight to send the bag in, which on a ₹2,399 suitcase is a serious fraction of what it cost.
Buying it in India
Nasher Miles sells through its own site, marketplaces, several hundred multi-brand outlets and about six of its own stores. Whichever channel you use, the checks are the same. Reading the listing details closely matters more than the channel.
Find the Legal Metrology block
Scroll past the marketing copy to the statutory panel, or read the box in the shop. Country of origin, MRP and the packer’s address are there by law.
Read the spec table, not the product name
One check-in bag is titled polycarbonate, specced as polyester and described as nylon on one page. The specification table is the line that describes the bag.
Open the warranty page first
Two listings mention five years on the shell; the published policy lists tiers of up to three. Confirm the term for your bag before you buy.
Compare selling prices, not MRPs
Every listing checked sold well below its MRP. Compare the rupees you will pay against another brand’s selling price.
Ask whether your discount is a sale price
Goods bought in a named promotion are not returnable under the published policy. Confirm at checkout before you rely on the seven-day window.
Common questions
Is Nasher Miles made in India?
Partly. Of 16 luggage listings read on 31 August 2026, 4 declared India alone, 9 declared China or PRC and 3 declared both. Both backpacks declared India, and the About Us page says Made in India is 70% of the range.
How long is the Nasher Miles warranty?
The policy and the FAQ both set tiers of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years by product, plus 1 year on accessories. Three years is the highest tier in the policy; two listings mention five years on the shell, so confirm the term for your bag.
Is Nasher Miles an Indian brand?
Yes. It is an unlisted Mumbai company with no corporate parent and Indian founder-directors. It is registered under NIC 5190, other wholesale, and no source found states that it owns a factory.
Does the warranty cover airline damage?
No. The policy excludes transport damage and directs the buyer to the transit company. Cover is not transferable, and the customer pays to ship the bag in.
Can I return a bag bought on discount?
The policy allows seven days but names sale and festive promotions as non-returnable, with damaged or wrongly delivered items the exception. Check the terms on your offer at checkout.

At ₹2,399 for a hard cabin trolley, Nasher Miles is good value in rupees, and its listings are detailed. It prints a full Legal Metrology block on every page, names the parts its warranty covers and asks for no warranty card. A brand that tells you 9 of 16 bags were made in China is more useful than one that tells you nothing.
Buyers who care where a bag is made should read each listing: on 31 August 2026, 4 of 16 luggage listings declared India alone, while the About Us page gives a 70% figure for the range. Two listings mention a five-year shell warranty, above the policy’s three-year top tier.
Worth buying for the ₹2,399 selling price, judged on that rather than the ₹12,995 MRP, and read the origin line on the exact bag you choose.
