The brand’s own store and its listings on an Indian marketplace, read on the same day, declare different countries of origin for Eume goods. On 24 September 2026 the three product pages read on eumeworld.com — two backpacks and a trolley — each printed “Country of Origin : PRC”. The same day, all twelve Eume listings on that marketplace, the one bag among them included, declared “India” and named a Bhiwandi factory.
Eume sells luggage, laptop backpacks, messenger and sling bags, travel accessories and massager backpacks, from its own store at eumeworld.com and through several Indian channels. The company behind it, Eume Lifestyle Private Limited, has been on the register since 10 August 2021 with the status “Active”.
The second thread is the warranty. The warranty page headlines five years on luggage and eighteen months on bags; the product pages write those figures as “5 Year (2+3)” and “18 Months (12+6)”, and the part after the plus sign arrives only on registration.
Eume is sold in India by Eume Lifestyle Private Limited, a Mumbai company incorporated 10 August 2021 with the register status “Active”. Every product page read on its own store declares “Country of Origin : PRC” and names an importer rather than a maker; the marketplace listings, read the same day, declare “India” and name a Bhiwandi factory. Both readings are printed below with their source. Laptop backpacks ran ₹3,999 to ₹8,999 on its own store that day, which is where the Mid band comes from. The five-year warranty is written on the product pages as two years plus three on registration, and ownership is not established.

Two pages, two declarations, one day
Take the brand’s own store first. Three product pages were read in full on 24 September 2026 — the Carbonis 20L, the Zorain 27L and the Aluminium Cabin trolley. Each carried the spec line “Country of Origin : PRC” and the same legal block, “Imported and Marketed By – EUME Lifestyle Private Limited”, with the Andheri East address and the customer-care number. The words “Manufactured by” appear on none of them, and the About page names no factory. On its own store the brand publishes an importer and no maker.
Now the marketplace. The brand’s whole catalogue on that shelf — twelve listings — was read on 24 September 2026. Every one declared a country of origin of “India”, and every one named a manufacturer: EUME Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, Gala No. 5, Bldg No. 193, Indian Corporation, Dapode Road, Mankoli Naka, Bhiwandi 421302, in three spellings of one address. The importer field was blank on all twelve.
| Declaration | Eume’s own product pages, 24 September 2026 | The twelve marketplace listings, 24 September 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Country of origin | “Country of Origin : PRC” on all three pages read | “India” on 12 of 12 |
| Manufacturer | Not published on any page read | EUME Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, Bhiwandi 421302, on 12 of 12 |
| Importer | “Imported and Marketed By – EUME Lifestyle Private Limited”, Andheri East, Mumbai | Blank on 12 of 12 |
| Seller of record | The brand itself | Three names across the twelve listings |
Left column: eumeworld.com product pages for the Carbonis 20L, Zorain 27L and Aluminium Cabin. Right column: an Indian marketplace reading of the whole catalogue on that shelf. Both read 24 September 2026.
Nine of the twelve listings are umbrellas, two are outdoor face masks and one is a bag, the EUME PU Half Moon Tote Bag. Eume’s own store sells luggage, backpacks and laptop bags, so a shelf three-quarters umbrellas is no reading of what it sells or charges. No price and no band here comes from that shelf — a buyer reads it only for what the listings declare.
And the single bag declares what the umbrellas do — origin “India”, the same Bhiwandi manufacturer.
The company, and the number the site prints instead of a CIN
The brand names its company plainly. The Terms of Service name “Eume Lifestyle Private Limited” with a Mumbai address, phone number and email; the Contact page names “EUME LIFESTYLE PRIVATE LIMITED” again. What neither carries is a CIN. The one identifier the Terms page prints is “Company Registration Number: MH33B0006158”, and the page does not say which register it belongs to. It is not the CIN. The two pages also give different unit numbers in the same industrial estate, B1 on one and b-2 on the other.
The register is clear on the basics. Four mirrors were read for CIN U19120MH2021PTC365611 on 24 September 2026, all carrying that CIN, an incorporation date of 10 August 2021, and a status of “Active” on three — “Active Private Limited Company” on the fourth. Two give authorised capital as ₹1,75,00,000 and paid-up as ₹1,52,17,800; a third rounds those to ₹1.75 crore and ₹1.52 crore, and a fourth to ₹1.8 crore and ₹1.5 crore.
They part company on three fields. On the activity code, two give NIC 1912 or 19120, the manufacture of luggage, handbags, saddlery and harness; a third gives “G1 Wholesale Trading / G2 Retail Trading”. Manufacture on one reading, trading on another, for the same CIN. On filing dates, three mirrors give three answers — a last balance sheet of 31 March 2023, March 2024 and 31 March 2025 — with the last annual general meeting moving in step. All three are printed and none is picked as the right one. These are mirrors of a register, not the filings.
Two side questions. A register name search on the brand string also returns EUMEC PRIVATE LIMITED, a Delhi company with no connection to this brand. And Eume appeared in Indian coverage from 2018, three years before the company selling it now existed, so a page dating the brand to 2018 is dating its appearance in the press.
Who owns it
Here the paper stops. None of the four register mirrors read publishes a shareholder list, a shareholding pattern or a holding-company field for this CIN. The company is limited by shares, and on the face of its CIN it is not a subsidiary of a foreign company. Beyond that, ownership is not established, and this page names nobody.
Two funding rounds are reported in trade press: Indian Retailer reported a ₹15 crore pre-Series A on 21 June 2024, and Entrackr a ₹25 crore Series A on 27 May 2025. Neither cites a filing with the registrar, and no mirror read carries a record of either. They are reports, attributed here to the outlet and the date, and an investment would not settle control. No turnover figure is printed: the two aggregator sites that publish one for this company do not agree.
Treat Eume Lifestyle Private Limited as the answerable party: it is the name on the Terms page, the importer block, the warranty and, on the marketplace listings, the manufacturer line too. What sits above it is on no page read.
What Eume costs in India
Every price here is the brand’s own, read on eumeworld.com on 24 September 2026. The store shows a “Sale price” against a crossed-out “Regular price” and prints “(incl. taxes)” beside it. The word MRP does not appear on its own product pages; a retailer’s brand page, read the same day, does print one, and on the Zorain 27L the two agree exactly — ₹8,999 against ₹13,499 in both places.
| Product, as named on the page | Sale price | Regular price | What the page says |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carbonis 20L Laptop Backpack, 30 × 14 × 47 cm, 1 kg | ₹3,999 | ₹7,499 | “SAVE 46%”, “(incl. taxes)”, “Fits upto 15.6 inches” |
| Zorain 27L Laptop Backpack, 42 × 35 × 18 cm, 1.27 kg | ₹8,999 | ₹13,499 | “(incl. taxes)”, “Premium Nylon Fabric” |
| Aluminium Cabin, 45 litres, 58 × 39.5 × 23 cm, 4.41 kg | ₹19,999 | ₹24,999 | “(incl. taxes)”, “High-end Anodized Aluminium” |
Eume’s own product pages, read 24 September 2026; the collection bands for the same day are in the snapshot above.
The brand runs a second rupee storefront, and on one article the two do not agree. On 24 September 2026 the Propine 22L Massager Backpack showed ₹3,999 on eumeworld.com and ₹3,499 on eumeglobal.myshopify.com, both against a regular price of ₹4,289. Two storefronts, one article, one day.
That ₹3,999 to ₹8,999 laptop backpack band on the brand’s own store is the only basis for the Mid tier here. Skybags, uppercase and Safari each hold their own audit here, on the same Indian bag and luggage shelf, and a tier always comes from a shelf that represents what a brand sells.
What the pages claim, and where the qualifier sits
Eume sells features by name. On water resistance, the Carbonis page describes a “water-resistant protective coating”, the Zorain page “Water-resistant fabric construction”, and a retailer lists one product as the “EUME Solid Water-Resistant 20 Liter Backpack”. No number, rating, standard or test house is published beside any of those words on any page read.
Anti-theft runs the same way: collection copy reads “Multiple compartments, padded laptop sleeves, anti-theft features, and USB charging ports”, and the Zorain page describes an “Advanced lock mechanism with side release”, with no standard named and no lock grade given. Materials are “Premium Vegan Leather”, “Premium Nylon Fabric” and “High-end Anodized Aluminium” with no denier, alloy number or certifier. Components are the exception — “YKK zippers”, “8 Hinomoto SilentRun Wheels” and “Two TSA-approved press-button combination locks” are suppliers a reader can look up.
The massager line is a body-contact electrical feature. The copy reads: “Equipped with massage nodes that provide targeted relief to your back, reducing fatigue and muscle tension.” Lower down the same page, inside a collapsed FAQ accordion, sits the only wording adjacent to that claim.
Yes, massager backpacks are safe for long-term use as they feature ergonomic designs and adjustable settings for personalized comfort.
That is a further affirmative statement rather than a caution: no contraindication and no medical qualifier is published beside the claim on the pages read. A buyer meets the claim in the brand’s own words, and the nearest thing to a qualifier sits a scroll further down, inside a collapsed accordion.
The warranty, and where the years actually come from
The warranty page is clear at the top and conditional further in. It publishes a “5-Year Manufacturing Warranty” on luggage and an “18-Month Manufacturing Warranty” on bags, both from the delivery date. Luggage cover runs to “Wheels, trolley system and carry handles, Zippers and TSA lock, Shell cracks and structural deformities caused by manufacturing defects”, excluding “Accidental or airline handling damage, Cosmetic scratches, dents or scuffs, Normal wear and tear, Damage caused by overloading, misuse or improper storage”. On bags it covers “Stitching, zipper, buckle and handle defects, Material and hardware defects, EVA foam defects, USB charging port defects” and excludes “Normal wear and tear, Colour fading from regular use, Damage caused by overloading, tearing or misuse, Accidental damage or external impact”.
The product pages write the same cover as a sum. The Aluminium Cabin spec block reads “5 Year (2+3)” — a “complimentary 2-year warranty” with an “additional 3 years upon registration”. The Zorain 27L reads “18 Months (12+6)”. The Carbonis page gives a third set of figures — a one-year standard warranty with a 1.5-year extended warranty on registration — which adds up to neither of the other two.
- “5-Year Manufacturing Warranty”The figure on the warranty page, for luggage, from the delivery date
- “5 Year (2+3)”The same cover as the Aluminium Cabin product page writes it
- 2 yearsThe “complimentary” part, which arrives with the bag
- +3 years on registrationAn online form, with valid proof of purchase
Claims go through what the page calls the “Protega Customer Portal”: the buyer submits purchase details and photos or videos, and a team guides a resolution — “Spare part replacement, Product repair, Product replacement, Store credit (where applicable)”.
Returns carry a similar gap. The refund policy publishes a “30-day trial on most of our products, starting from the day your order is delivered”. The Carbonis page states a “30 Days Return Policy” alongside a “15-day return window for non-defective items”, and the Aluminium Cabin page a “15-day return policy”. A buyer acting on the thirty-day figure may be outside the fifteen-day one.
What the label blocks show
A packaged good sold in India carries five declarations on the pack: manufacturer, packer, importer, net quantity and customer care. A buyer reads them off a screen only where the page reproduces them. On Eume’s own product pages two appear — the importer block and the customer-care line — along with the country of origin, which is not one of the five. Manufacturer, packer and net quantity do not appear; dimensions and weight are given instead.
Four listings on other Indian channels, read the same day, carry none of the five blocks in their published text, so the brand’s own store publishes more of the mandatory declarations than they do.
The advertising record
A search of the advertising council’s complaint-outcome, non-contested and direct-violation registers on 24 September 2026, under “Eume” and “Eume Lifestyle”, found no matter naming Eume Lifestyle Private Limited. A search the same day for a company with a known record did bring back rows, so the zero is a reading, not a failed query. That council is self-regulatory rather than statutory.
The court record
Searches on an Indian case-law service on 24 September 2026 for the exact strings “Eume Lifestyle Private Limited” and “Eume Lifestyle” produced no matching results. The same service returned 464 rows for a comparable Indian luggage company that day, which is what makes the nil a reading rather than an empty query. The bare term “Eume” brings back 857 rows, not one naming this company. Only decided matters are recorded, and the Indian trade-mark register was not readable, so no proprietor is named.
Where else it sells
Besides its own store, Eume runs brand pages on several Indian channels, one carrying 206 items and another running to six pages of listings, and a third-party store sells Eume goods from ₹3,999 to ₹35,000. None of those listings names a seller of record in its page text; the only entity names recovered are the brand’s own company, as a named seller in one marketplace’s luggage filter, and India Ecosystems Private Limited, the operator of that third-party store.
The Store Locator page’s meta description mentions Lucknow and Bangalore, but the page as published names no addresses. A trade-press interview of 23 March 2026 quotes the brand saying “We have five running stores and more in the pipeline”, with a plan for 42 to 45 stores over three years — trade press, dated, and nothing on the brand’s own site lets a reader check it.
Common questions
Where are Eume bags made?
The brand’s own product pages and its marketplace listings give different answers, read on the same day. On eumeworld.com on 24 September 2026, the Carbonis 20L, Zorain 27L and Aluminium Cabin pages each print “Country of Origin : PRC” and a block reading “Imported and Marketed By – EUME Lifestyle Private Limited”, with no manufacturer named. On 24 September 2026, all twelve Eume listings on an Indian marketplace declare a country of origin of “India” and name a manufacturer at Gala No. 5, Bldg No. 193, Indian Corporation, Dapode Road, Mankoli Naka, Bhiwandi 421302, with the importer field blank. Both readings are published text.
Who owns Eume?
Not established. Eume Lifestyle Private Limited is the operating company, incorporated on 10 August 2021, CIN U19120MH2021PTC365611, register status “Active”. None of the four register mirrors read on 24 September 2026 publishes a shareholder list, a shareholding pattern or a holding-company field for it. Two funding rounds are reported in trade press — ₹15 crore by Indian Retailer on 21 June 2024 and ₹25 crore by Entrackr on 27 May 2025 — but neither report cites a filing, and an investment would not settle control.
Is the five-year warranty really five years?
No — not unless you register it. The warranty page publishes a “5-Year Manufacturing Warranty” on luggage and an “18-Month Manufacturing Warranty” on bags. The product pages write the same cover as “5 Year (2+3)” and “18 Months (12+6)”: two years and twelve months come with the product, and the rest arrives only on registering it through an online form with valid proof of purchase. Claims run through what the brand calls the Protega Customer Portal.
How long do I have to return an Eume bag?
The refund policy publishes a “30-day trial on most of our products, starting from the day your order is delivered”, with customised items, gift cards and goods bought in physical stores excluded, and refunds to the original payment method in five to seven working days. The product pages give a shorter figure: the Carbonis page states a “15-day return window for non-defective items” and the Aluminium Cabin page a “15-day return policy”. Both were published on 24 September 2026.
What do the water-resistance and anti-theft claims mean?
As published, they are descriptions without measurements. Product and collection copy read on 24 September 2026 uses “water-resistant protective coating”, “Water-resistant fabric construction” and “anti-theft features”, and no page read gives a rating, a standard, a lock grade or a testing body. The named components are the exception — “YKK zippers”, “8 Hinomoto SilentRun Wheels” and “Two TSA-approved press-button combination locks” are suppliers and standards a reader can look up independently.

Eume publishes a good deal on its own site. The operating company is named twice there, with a working address and phone. The prices are its own, printed with tax wording. The country of origin is on every product page read, and the warranty page lists cover and exclusions plainly enough to price in.
The paperwork around those strengths is what a buyer sits with. On 24 September 2026 the brand’s own pages said PRC and named an importer, and its marketplace listings said India and named a Bhiwandi factory. The site prints a registration number without saying which register it belongs to, and no CIN. The five-year warranty is two years unless you register, the eighteen-month warranty is twelve, and the return window is thirty days on the policy page and fifteen on the product page. Water resistance and anti-theft carry no rating, standard or test house on any page read.
At ₹3,999 to ₹8,999 for a laptop backpack this is a Mid-tier bag in a crowded field — so buy it on the parts you can check, register it the day it lands to get the years the headline promises, and diarise the fifteenth day, not the thirtieth.
