Libas Brand Audit: Who Owns It, and What It Costs in India

One company is the seller of record on 98.6% of 10,451 Libas listings on Myntra, and the brand's own site prints its name and CIN. How the brand reached that company could not be established.

Libas is one of the largest ethnic-wear names on any Indian shopping site, and its size is easy to check. On 7 September 2026 Myntra’s brand page held 10,509 listings and the brand’s own shop published 19,500 products.

Every packaged good sold in India carries a declaration naming who is answerable for it, and Myntra prints that block beside the seller’s name. Here the two answers are almost always one company: Zivore Apparel Private Limited is the seller of record on 10,309 of 10,451 listings and the declared manufacturer on 203 of 207 read in full.

The short answer

There is a company behind this brand and a shopper can check it on the listing. It answers for 98.6% of the Myntra catalogue, the brand’s own site prints its name and CIN, and all four sub-brands declare it too.

What could not be settled is how the brand arrived at that company. The register shows a new company incorporated on 5 May 2022 with no former name, a firm called Libas Impex is named on four listings today, and a 2022 advertising case names a third company that matches no register record connected with this brand.

Price: 10,451 Myntra listings, 96.0% reduced, aggregate 43.1% of MRP, median charged ₹1,648, read 7 September 2026.

Who is answerable for a Libas garment

The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 require a retail package to name the manufacturer or packer with an address, plus the net quantity and the sale price. That block names who is legally answerable for the goods, not who sewed the garment, and naming a set of entities rather than one is lawful.

Libas sits at the short end of the range this site has been measuring. Across 207 Myntra records read one at a time there are six manufacturer strings resolving to two corporate names — Zivore Apparel Private Limited on 203, Libas Impex on 4 — the six being casing and address variants of those two. On the brand’s own shop it is shorter still: one string, identical on all thirty declarations read.

Brand Distinct manufacturer strings on Myntra Listings read
Aurelia 64 120
W for Woman 33 60
Biba 16, under three corporate names 120
Global Desi 9 120
Libas 6, under two names 207

All five read on 6 or 7 September 2026. A wider spread is not a fault, but a shopper asking who answers for the garment gets a shorter answer here.

Two addresses belong side by side. Every register mirror gives the registered office as D-41, Lajpat Nagar-II, Delhi 110024; the address declared on the goods, on all three channels, is B-005, Sector 85, Noida 201301.

What the platform’s own classification says

Myntra’s product records carry a system attribute marking a brand as one of its own house of brands. Across all 10,451 Libas listings it is off — 0 of 10,451. A control run the same session on Anouk, whose 450 listings named 207 manufacturers and no Myntra company, read 489 of 500 with the mark on; Sangria read on for 16,378 of 16,716.

That mark is Myntra’s own classification of its own catalogue. It is not a trade-mark record and proves nothing about who owns anything. It is worth printing because it separates cleanly on brands whose ownership is established elsewhere, and because it can split a brand’s own family: Anouk Rustic reads 0 of 15 while Anouk Mirage reads 15 of 15.

Libas’s four further facets do not split. Gerua By Libas carries 2,478 listings, Libas Art 778, Extra Love By Libas 706 and Libas KIDS 4; three records were read in full under each, and every one declares Zivore Apparel or Libas Impex, is sold by Zivore Apparel, and reads 0 of 3 on the mark — exactly as the parent facet does.

The company question that could not be settled

The brand’s own contact page prints the company name and CIN, so who is answerable today is not in doubt. How the brand reached that company is a different matter, and five records sit beside each other with no verb between them.

What the record carries Where Date
Zivore Apparel Private Limited, CIN U18109DL2022PTC397831, incorporated as a new company; no former name shown Register mirrors Incorporated 5 May 2022, read 7 September 2026

No scheme of arrangement, transfer instrument, name-change certificate or registrar approval was found on any source read. The only company called Libas Apparels Private Limited on any register read is a Kolkata company incorporated on 17 July 1995, whose directors and address have nothing to do with this brand. What Libas Impex is as a legal form is not on anything read, and it carries no CIN.

The company that answers for the clothes is on the record. How the brand arrived at it is not.

So this page does not write that the brand was renamed and does not write that one company succeeded another. It prints the five records and leaves the join where the record leaves it.

Who owns Zivore Apparel

Sunil Kumar Keshwani and Sidhant Keshwani have been directors since incorporation, and Gagandeep Singh Chhina joined on 30 May 2024 as a nominee director. A nominee directorship is a fact about a board seat that the register carries. It is not a shareholding — and no shareholding of this company was readable at all, on any annual return, allotment return or shareholding pattern.

What the press carries is a funding round. Trade coverage from 2024 and the brand’s own newsroom reprint record ₹150 crore raised from IAF Series 5, a fund managed by ICICI Venture, described as its first external round. No stake percentage appears anywhere in that coverage, and the company’s LEI record reports both its direct and ultimate parent as non-consolidating. So the brand is treated here as independent, with the money and the board seat printed and no percentage asserted.

Two register mirrors disagree about the capital, at ₹42.36 crore authorised against ₹50,00,000, and nothing read resolves it. A mirror also lists the company as holder of three Libas-family marks, with application numbers and status not visible — an aggregator’s copy, cited as a copy. The public register itself was not reached, so nothing here is reported as absent from it.

What Libas costs in India

The Myntra catalogue was walked category by category on 7 September 2026, giving 10,451 of the 10,509 listings — 99.4% — with the MRP and the price charged. Of those 10,032 were reduced, or 96.0%, and 418 sat at MRP with none above it. Median MRP ₹3,799, median price charged ₹1,648, median discount among the reduced 57%, deepest 84%. In aggregate ₹4.42 crore of MRP was being charged as ₹1.91 crore: 43.1% of MRP.

Counting distinct values answers what a median cannot — whether this is a price for this garment or a slot on a grid. There are 237 distinct MRPs across the 10,451, of which 10,441 end in 9. There are 79 distinct whole-number discount percentages, and the ladder is unbroken where it matters: every integer from 13% to 84%, with no gaps at all.

That is the shape W for Woman and Aurelia showed the same week, at 69 and 67 unbroken rungs each, run seventeen points deeper — and the opposite of the short ladders of the week before, where H&M priced 11,685 listings off 47 distinct MRPs and Uniqlo 1,307 off 23. Biba and Global Desi sit in between, with gaps in both ladders.

The countdown, and the coupon underneath it

Of the 207 listings read one at a time, 199 carried a live timed offer and all 199 read “OFFER ENDS IN”. The start value is zero on every one, so the offer has no beginning. The end values fall overnight, between 02:40 and 03:56 on 8 September 2026 — a 74.6-minute window, 8.7 to 10.0 hours after the reading, across 159 distinct timestamps.

Six other brands here, under six owners, showed the same shape the same week — Anouk across 360 end times, and Biba, W, Aurelia, Global Desi and Soch each inside windows of 31 to 39 minutes. Uniqlo’s sale flags, read the day before, were the mirror image: a start value and no end date at all.

Underneath the countdown sits a coupon with a much longer life. On 9,392 of the 10,451 listings, or 89.9%, a coupon block carries an end date of 10 or 11 October 2026 — a month out, while the timer on the same listing expires that night — worth a median 7.9% of MRP. It is not this brand’s peculiarity: read across the first 100 listings of each facet in one session, the same dated coupon sat on 100 of W’s, 99 of Aurelia’s, 98 of Soch’s, 96 of Biba’s, 95 of Global Desi’s, 93 of Libas’s and 86 of Anouk’s. A shelf-wide field, distinguishing nobody.

Worth knowing

Every Myntra figure here is a ceiling. Coupons sit on the reduced price and 10% bank offers sat above them the same day, so 43.1% of MRP is the most you would have paid.

Where else it sells, and what it costs there

Four channels were read on 7 September 2026 and they do not agree. The brand’s own shop is the cheapest, which is not a rule: Aurelia’s store came out cheaper than Myntra the same week, Biba’s and Global Desi’s dearer.

Channel Charged as a share of MRP or struck price What that rests on
libas.in, in stock 39.0% 8,439 products; the struck figure is not labelled MRP on the product page
Myntra 43.1% 10,451 listings
Tata CLiQ 48.8% 35 product records, all 35 reduced
Ajio 78.6% 55 products — the whole brand page, and a very small book

Read 7 September 2026. The Ajio and Tata CLiQ figures rest on 55 and 35 records — soundings, not whole catalogues.

The labelling on that store needs care. A product page prints “Regular price ₹4,999 Sale price ₹2,079 58%Off Inclusive Of All Taxes”, with the word MRP in the cart line rather than beside the garment, so the honest phrasing there is a percentage off the struck price. Of the 8,439 products in stock, 99.6% were reduced, the median struck price was ₹4,299 against ₹1,599 charged, and the ladder again runs every integer from 9% to 84%.

One thing worth knowing about searching. Tata CLiQ’s own product search, asked for “libas”, returns 234,422 results and not one Libas product, while the same site’s brand facet carries 8,300. A search is a ranking function with its own idea of what you meant; a brand page is the shop’s own list. Read the count off that page.

What the label does not tell you

Origin is the one complete field: India on all 277 declarations read across the three channels. The wording on libas.in is identical on all thirty products read — “Manufactured & Marketed by Zivore Apparel Private Limited”, the Noida address, “Country Of Origin: India” — with consumer care at the same company.

After that it thins out. Net quantity appears on 176 of 207 Myntra listings and 34 of 35 on Tata CLiQ, and on none of the thirty on the brand’s own site. A percentage fibre composition — the 60% cotton, 40% polyester line a buyer can use — appears nowhere; Myntra gives a fabric family word such as Cotton or Chanderi Silk on 33 of 207 and nothing on the rest.

GSM, grams per square metre, tells you how heavy a cloth is, and appears on none of the three channels. Eighteen brands into this site’s apparel work, not one has published a GSM anywhere a shopper can read it.

Stores, and how big the business is

The brand’s own locator said “51 stores in 15+ cities” on 7 September 2026, and its thirteen state groups sum to exactly 51, led by Delhi 16, Uttar Pradesh 10 and Karnataka 6. The 2024 funding coverage records “approximately 18 retail locations over the past 18 months”. Both carry their dates and neither is adjusted here.

Revenue comes in three readings on three bases, none of them an audited figure from a filing: a register mirror at ₹612.17 crore for FY2025, up 25.00%; the 2024 trade coverage at ₹500 crore for FY24; and a second mirror putting the year to March 2024 in a ₹100–500 crore band. Nothing read gives an FY2026 figure.

The advertising record

Two matters sit on the Advertising Standards Council of India’s file, both Upheld, and both about influencer disclosure — a social media post that did not carry an advertisement label. Neither concerns a garment, a fabric or a price. Case C.3326, from 2022, names Libas Apparels Private Limited as the advertiser; case C.41734, from 2025, names Zivore Apparel Private Limited.

A count like that says something about how two posts were labelled and nothing about the clothes, so the description matters more than the number. Each ruling was on a specific advertisement as it then stood; neither is a standing ban on a form of words; nobody has ruled on any page as it reads today; and the council is a self-regulatory body, not a statutory regulator. The 2022 row belongs beside the table above: the advertiser it names matches no register record connected with this brand.

Names that are not this brand

“Libas” is an ordinary Urdu and Hindi word for clothing, so the shelf carries several. On Myntra, MOMIN LIBAS holds 270 listings and declares United India Exports of Noida; JAIPURI LIBAS holds 17 and is sold by Guru Kripa Enterprises of Jaipur. Two company names also need separating: Libas Consumer Products Limited, a listed Mumbai company formerly Libas Designs Limited, and Zivore Design Private Limited of Delhi, which shares a director with Zivore Apparel. None is attributed to this brand.

Who Libas is actually for

A median of ₹1,648 buys a saree or a kurta set from a company you can name, with an address on the goods and a CIN on the brand’s own contact page. For a shopper who wants to know who answers if a garment goes wrong, that beats a name with two hundred companies behind it.

Check 01

Price the garment, not the discount

With 96.0% of the catalogue reduced, the reduced price is the ordinary one. Ask whether the saree is worth ₹1,648, not whether ₹3,799 down to ₹1,648 sounds a bargain.

Check 02

Compare the brand’s own site first

On 7 September 2026 the brand’s shop charged 39.0% of the struck price against Myntra’s 43.1% of MRP. That order belongs to this brand, not the shelf — check both.

Common questions

Who owns Libas?

The company answerable for the goods is Zivore Apparel Private Limited, CIN U18109DL2022PTC397831, incorporated on 5 May 2022 and registered in Delhi. The brand’s own contact page prints that name and CIN. No shareholding of the company was readable on any register or filing, so this page names directors and not shareholders.

Is Libas a Myntra in-house label?

Myntra’s own house-of-brands classification is off on all 10,451 Libas listings read on 7 September 2026, against 489 of 500 for Anouk read the same day. That is the platform’s classification of its own catalogue rather than a trade-mark record, but it points the same way as the declarations: Zivore Apparel is the seller of record on 98.6% of the catalogue.

What is Libas Impex, and is it the same company?

Libas Impex is named as the declared manufacturer on 4 of 207 Myntra listings read on 7 September 2026, at two addresses, and the brand’s About page names it in the same three paragraphs as Zivore Apparel. Trade press in July 2022 described a rename. The register shows Zivore Apparel as a new 2022 company with no former name, and no scheme, transfer or name-change certificate was found, so the connection between the two is not established here.

Are the discounts real?

The prices charged are real and low: 96.0% of 10,451 listings were reduced on 7 September 2026, at 43.1% of MRP in aggregate. Whether the MRP is a price anyone was asked to pay is a separate question, and with 96% of the catalogue reduced on the day of reading, the reduced price is the ordinary one.

Where else can I buy it?

On 7 September 2026 the brand’s own site published 19,500 products, Myntra held 10,509 listings, Nykaa Fashion 9,416 items, Tata CLiQ’s brand facet 8,300 and Ajio 55. Flipkart and Amazon were not read, so nothing is said here about either.

Does Libas publish fabric weight or composition?

No. Across 277 declarations read on three channels on 7 September 2026, none carried a percentage fibre composition and none carried a GSM figure. Myntra’s attributes give a fabric family word on 33 of 207 listings and nothing on the rest.

The FA take

On the question this site keeps asking of marketplace ethnic wear — is there a company behind the name — Libas gives about as clean an answer as the shelf offers. One company is the seller of record on 98.6% of 10,451 listings, two names cover every declaration read, all four sub-brands declare that company, and the brand’s own site prints its name and CIN.

The gap is earlier in the story. A company born in May 2022, a trade-press announcement about a firm called Libas Impex, that firm’s name on four listings four years on, and a 2022 advertising case naming a third company no register read can match: those records do not join up on anything published, and this page will not join them for you. On the clothes the disclosure is ordinary — no fibre percentage, no fabric weight, a countdown with no beginning.

Good value at the price actually charged, and a rare thing here — one company behind the name — but buy the garment, not the history above it.
