Pantaloons is a division of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, CIN L18101MH2007PLC233901, not a company of its own, and this page is about the labels sold under Pantaloons’ own names. The company’s current reporting names none of them; the document that lists them is from 2013.
The labels reach a shopper through Pantaloons stores, pantaloons.com and the marketplaces. On 25 September 2026, 75 records read on a large Indian fashion marketplace named Westbury Holdings Pvt Ltd_Pantaloons as seller of record on every one and Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd. at its Kurla office as manufacturer, and the group’s own shop printed ₹999 and ₹1,499 as MRP.
Pantaloons is a division of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, which signs for the goods, reports a ₹4,560 crore Value/Masstige segment and never says what share of it these labels are. They reach a shopper through the group’s own shop, where the declaration names ABFRL, and through marketplaces, where the seller of record on all 75 records read was Westbury Holdings Pvt Ltd_Pantaloons. On 25 September 2026 the own shop printed ₹999 and ₹1,499 as MRP and AJIO showed ₹599 and ₹799. When something goes wrong, the company in the Manufactured By line and the customer-care block answers; on a marketplace the contract is with the seller of record.

Who owns Pantaloons’ labels
The owner is one registration, renamed, not three companies: the register mirror prints its previous names as “Pantaloons Fashion Retail Limited”, “Pantaloons Fashion & Retail Limited” and “Peter England Fashions and Retail Limited”, and it is listed under BSE scrip code 535755 and NSE symbol ABFRL. For the year ended 31 March 2026 ABFRL reported revenue of ₹8,177 crore, and the Managing Director’s Message gives the segment: “The Value/Masstige segment delivered revenue of ₹4,560 crore in FY26, reflecting a 4% year-on-year growth”. Akkriti, Bare Denim, Honey and Byford appear nowhere in what was read of that report. The FY2024-25 report credits “improved private label share” among the year’s levers and gives no figure either; for FY26 there is no percentage, no rupee figure and no brand-level revenue for any of these names.
The filing that names them is a 2013 exchange document, lodged when the business was freshly demerged from Future Retail Limited. Its section on strengths reads:
Private labels and licensed brands contribute to approximately 50% of the Company’s sales.
Information Memorandum of Pantaloons Fashion & Retail Limited, “Our Strengths and Competitive Advantages”, p. 15, NSE archive; read 25 September 2026. The same passage names Akkriti, Rangmanch, Ajile, Annabelle, Trisha (sic), Honey and Chalk as brands owned by Pantaloons, alongside brands licensed from Future Group.
That sentence covers private labels and licensed brands together, and nothing published since restates it. What the owner does publish is a directory: ABFRL’s Pantaloons business-overview page names the labels by department, and Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited’s website carries the same list, calls Pantaloons “a division of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd.” and adds Style Up.
| Department, as the page heads it | Labels, exactly as printed |
|---|---|
| Men | Ajile · Bare Denim · Byford · Indus Route · People · SF Jeans · Urban Ranger |
| Women’s Ethnic | Akkriti · Rang Manch |
| Women’s Western | Ajile · Annabelle · Bare Denim · Candie’s New York · Dreamz · Honey · People |
| Kids | Coolsters · Pantaloons Baby · Pantaloons Junior |
| Home & Decor | Living Scapes |
ABFRL’s Pantaloons business-overview page and the ABLBL copy, both read 25 September 2026. OWND! is named there as a separate ABFRL retail format, not an in-store label.
One name there is not an own label on the owner’s own paperwork: ABFRL’s press release of 4 September 2014 announced Candie’s through “a long-term licensing agreement with – Iconix Lifestyle India Private Limited”, and whether the licence subsists is not established.
How the labels reach a shopper
The first route is the owner’s stores, counted more than one way.
| Figure | Where it appears | As at |
|---|---|---|
| “Pantaloon 342 57,76,398” — 342 stores, 57,76,398 sq ft | Integrated Annual Report FY2025-26, Our Business At A Glance, retail-footprint table | 31 March 2026 |
| “400+ stores” across “190+ cities” | Integrated Annual Report FY2025-26, Brand Portfolio | FY2025-26 |
| “399” stores | Q4FY26 results press release | Quarter ended 31 March 2026 |
| “405 stores” | Integrated Annual Report FY2024-25 | FY2024-25 |
All four read 25 September 2026. The first two sit in the same report, and no document read reconciles them.
The second route is pantaloons.com, where the owner’s name appears three times on a product page: in the Manufactured By line, in the customer-care block as “Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd., Pantaloons Division” with a toll-free number, and in the copyright footer. The shop draws no line between what it owns and what it stocks, and two names in its menus, Marigold Lane and Anaqa, are on no ABFRL list.
The third route is the marketplaces. On 75 records on a large Indian fashion marketplace, 25 each on Akkriti, SF Jeans and Honey, the seller of record is Westbury Holdings Pvt Ltd_Pantaloons on all 75.
- The group’s own shopSix declaration fields, Manufactured By as ABFRL in Bangalore, plus a customer-care block
- A large Indian marketplaceDeclared manufacturer ABFRL at the Kurla office, origin, a mostly blank importer line, seller of record Westbury Holdings Pvt Ltd_Pantaloons
- AJIOThe brand name and one price. No manufacturer, packer, marketer, origin or seller
Three channels, three amounts of paperwork, all read 25 September 2026.
The labels on the shelf
The marketplace’s brand facet carried eleven Pantaloons strings on 25 September 2026, from SF JEANS by Pantaloons at 3,298 listings down to TRISHAA BY PANTALOONS at 2 and CHALK by Pantaloons at 1, one shelf on one date rather than a statement that either label has stopped. “Honey Curvytude by Pantaloons”, at 435 listings, is on no published brand list. Every string carries the word Pantaloons; a marketplace’s own-label audit shows how another retailer names its labels.
The declarations on the 75 records are uniform: manufacturer Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd. at the Kurla registered office, not the Bangalore address the group’s own shop prints, and importer blank on 72 of 75.
The block at the foot of a pantaloons.com product page is headed DETAILS and carried six fields on all three garments read: brand, name of commodity, MRP, net quantity, country of origin and Manufactured By. That last line gets misread. It is not a factory address; it names the entity answerable for the goods, here Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited at Divyashree Technopolis, Yemalur, Bangalore, an office building, and nothing read establishes that a garment was made there. On Bare Denim, whose mark the mirror puts with Future Brands, it names ABFRL exactly as on Akkriti.
| Product, as the page names it | MRP as printed | Manufactured By | Absent fields |
|---|---|---|---|
| Akkriti Red Print Casual V Neck Half Sleeves Women Regular Fit Kurta | “₹ 1499.00 (inclusive of taxes and excluding of discounts)” | ABFRL, Divyashree Technopolis, Yemalur, Bangalore 560037 | Packed By, Imported By, Marketed By, seller of record, selling price / discount |
| Bare Denim men’s black slim tapered full-length jeans, article 356067 | “₹ 1499.00 (inclusive of taxes and excluding of discounts)” | ABFRL, same Bangalore address | The same five |
| Byford men’s faded blue check casual shirt, article 440422 | “₹ 999.00 (inclusive of taxes and excluding of discounts)” | ABFRL, same Bangalore address | The same five |
Three pantaloons.com product pages, read 25 September 2026. Origin reads “India” and net quantity “1 Number” on all three; the pages print MRP and no selling price; selling price and discount count as one absent line.
Where the labels are made
Only the declarations say, and they say a country: “India” on all three pantaloons.com pages and India on 72 of the 75 marketplace records, with Sri Lanka on two Honey records and “Sri Lanka,India” on one. Manufactured By is not a factory: the Bangalore address is an office building, the Kurla address is the registered office, and no document read says where any garment was sewn.
The labels say little about the cloth and give no number. The three product pages read give “Polyester” on the Akkriti kurta, “Cotton” with a “twill weave” on the Byford shirt and a “blend of cotton, polyester, and spandex”, no proportions, on the Bare Denim jeans, with “Machine Wash” on all three. No GSM, fibre percentage, standard or certifier appears. Byford is described as “Smart casuals inspired by British countryside” and SF Jeans as “Premium denim in varied fits”; these are descriptions, not specifications.
The labels on the register
Everything below is read off a public mirror of the Indian register. The mirror shortens proprietor names, printing “Future Brands Public” where the register carries a full company name; none is a certified extract, and a row settles only who applied for a word, in which class, and where it came to rest.
| Mark, as printed | Application | Class | Filed | Status | Proprietor, as printed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A Akkriti (label) | 1499026 | 24, 25 | 26 Oct 2006 | “Registered” | “Aditya Birla Fashion And Retail Limited”, Kurla, Mumbai 400070 |
| Trishaa (word) | 1333556 | 25 | 20 Jan 2005 | “Registered”, valid to 20 January 2035 | “Aditya Birla Fashion And Retail Limited”, Kurla, Mumbai 400070 |
| Pantaloons (device) | 2754521 | 25, 35 | 12 Jun 2014 | “Registered” | “Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Public Limited”, Kurla, Mumbai 400070 |
| Honey (device) | 2289007 | 25 | 24 Feb 2012 | “Withdrawn” | “Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Public”, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400059 |
| Annabella (device) | 2538074 | 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 35 | 27 May 2013 | “Refused” | “Aditya Birla Fashion And Retail Public”, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400059 |
| Bare Denim (device) | 744401 | 25 | 16 Jun 1997, “used since 01 December 1992” | “Registered”, valid to 16 June 2034, renewed 2004, 2014 and 2024 | “Future Brands Public”, Knowledge House, Jogeshwari (East), Mumbai 400060 |
Each row opened as its own record on the register mirror, read 25 September 2026. Spellings are the register’s: “Annabella” where the shop prints “Annabelle”.
The register holds more of these names than the marketing does. Trishaa is ABFRL’s, valid to 2035, and on no current brand list. On 27 May 2013 six women’s-wear names went in across the same six classes, Rangmahal, Rangarang, Arabella, Arabelle, Annabella and Agriti; four read “Registered”, none of the four on any published list. Chirpie Pie, Poppers and Indie Jeans sit on the same proprietor listing.
Rangmanch, Byford, SF Jeans, Indus Route, Chalk and RIG do not appear on that listing. The mirror’s class-availability tool reports class 25 marks for BYFORD, SF JEANS and RANGMANCH, naming no holder; Byford is also a menswear brand in Malaysia and Singapore.
The whole “Bare” estate sits with Future Brands Limited on the mirror’s proprietor listing, most filed on 16 June 1997 and all reading “Registered”, and that company is on the companies register mirror as CIN U74999MH2006PLC165722, incorporated 22 November 2006, at Knowledge House, Jogeshwari (East), the address the mark carries.
- ABFRL’s own siteLists Bare Denim under Men and Women’s Western, and names no licensor
- The register mirrorMark 744401, class 25, “Registered” to 2034, proprietor printed as “Future Brands Public”
- The pack declaration“Manufactured By: Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited”; Future Brands is nowhere on the page
- The 2013 filingSaid then that some Pantaloons brands were “licensed on a perpetual basis from Future Group”
Those four readings stay unresolved. Nothing read says ABFRL does not own Bare Denim, nothing read says the 2013 arrangement still stands, and no assignment record was read. What a shopper can take is narrower: the company named on the mark is not the company named on the garment.
Who answers for the labels in India
Treat Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited as the answerable party on anything carrying one of these names; its customer-care block gives a toll-free number under “Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd., Pantaloons Division”, and names no grievance officer. On a marketplace the contract of sale is with the seller of record, Westbury Holdings Pvt Ltd_Pantaloons on every record read; AJIO named none.
The Bare Denim and Akkriti brand pages name no company, owner or licensor. Future Brands Limited, proprietor of the Bare estate on the mirror, and Iconix Lifestyle India Private Limited, the Candie’s licensor named in 2014, appear on the register and in filings rather than on the shop pages; for a simpler one-company case, see a single-label audit.
What the labels cost in India
The group’s own shop prints MRP only: ₹1,499 on the Akkriti kurta, ₹1,499 on the Bare Denim jeans, ₹999 on the Byford shirt, each with “excluding of discounts”. Two AJIO listings of “Akkriti by Pantaloons” showed ₹599 and ₹799 with no MRP alongside. On Flipkart’s “Byford By Pantaloons” shirts listing, 315 products long, the first three read ₹531 against ₹999 at 46% off, ₹449 against ₹999 at 55% off, and ₹681 against ₹1,299 at 47% off. The ₹999 the owner prints as MRP on a Byford shirt is the ₹999 a marketplace shows crossed out the same day.
| Brand string, as the facet prints it | Listings | n priced | Median MRP | Median paid | Paid as % of MRP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SF JEANS by Pantaloons | 3,298 | 40 | ₹1,699 | ₹1,699 | 100% |

Brand facet values and counts on a large Indian fashion marketplace, read 25 September 2026; the three priced rows read in listing order, capped at 40 listings each. Discounting ran 4 of 40 on SF Jeans, 15 on Honey and 16 on Akkriti.
No price tier is given here; five readings on one day across kurtas, a tunic, jeans and shirts support no tier and no average.
Checking a Pantaloons label is genuine
No authenticity check is printed here; the checks below rest on what the pack and the register print.
Read the Manufactured By line
On pantaloons.com it names Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited in Bangalore; on the 75 marketplace records, the same company at Kurla. A different name is a question for the seller.
Match the origin to the declaration
Origin read “India” on all three own-shop pages and on 72 of 75 marketplace records, with Sri Lanka on Honey. AJIO declared none.
Compare the price with pantaloons.com
The owner printed ₹999 on a Byford shirt and Flipkart crossed out the same ₹999 at 46% and 55% off on 25 September 2026.
Read the seller of record
Westbury Holdings Pvt Ltd_Pantaloons sat against the buy button on 75 of 75 records read; AJIO named none. The contract is with whoever it names.
The record in India
Searches for decided matters did not find one naming any of these labels. On the register mirror, Honey’s class 25 application reads “Withdrawn” and Annabella’s six-class application reads “Refused”. Those statuses concern those particular applications.
Who Pantaloons’ labels are actually for
These labels suit a buyer who wants a kurta, a shirt or jeans at ₹999 to ₹1,499 as MRP, or less at a marketplace’s discount, from a company that signs for the goods on its own shop and on every marketplace record read, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. They do not suit a buyer who wants a fibre percentage, because none is published on the pages read. Trent’s labels are set out in the Westside audit, and the Ajio side in our page on Reliance Trends.
Common questions
Who owns the labels sold inside a Pantaloons store?
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited runs Pantaloons as a division, CIN L18101MH2007PLC233901, incorporated 19 April 2007, and previously named Pantaloons Fashion & Retail Limited and, before that, Peter England Fashions and Retail Limited. Its site publishes the label list by department, and the declaration on its own product pages names the company as answerable for the goods. Ownership of individual marks is a separate question: the register mirror names ABFRL on Akkriti, Trishaa, Honey, Annabella and the Pantaloons device, and names Future Brands Limited on the whole Bare estate.
Who sells the labels in India?
Pantaloons stores, pantaloons.com and the marketplaces. On the group’s own shop the customer-care block names “Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd., Pantaloons Division”. On a large Indian fashion marketplace the seller of record on all 75 records read on 25 September 2026 was Westbury Holdings Pvt Ltd_Pantaloons, with ABFRL at the Kurla office as declared manufacturer. AJIO listings named no seller at all.
Is Bare Denim an Aditya Birla brand?
Three documents read on 25 September 2026 answer differently and this page resolves none of them. ABFRL’s own site lists Bare Denim as a Pantaloons brand for men and for women, naming no licensor. The register mirror gives the proprietor of mark 744401 as a Future Group brand-holding company, “Registered” in class 25 and renewed in 2024. And the Bare Denim product page’s declaration names Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited as the entity answerable. A 2013 exchange filing says some Pantaloons brands were “licensed on a perpetual basis from Future Group”; whether that arrangement subsists is not established.
How much of Pantaloons’ sales are its own labels?
ABFRL does not publish that figure. The FY2025-26 report gives the segment, “The Value/Masstige segment delivered revenue of ₹4,560 crore in FY26”, and no own-label share at all. The FY2024-25 report credits “improved private label share” among the year’s levers and gives no number either. The only document that names the labels is a 2013 exchange filing, and what it records about their share of sales belongs to that year and covers licensed brands alongside own ones.
Are Honey and Annabelle still Pantaloons labels?
Both were on ABFRL’s published brand list on 25 September 2026, and on the marketplace read that day Honey by Pantaloons carried 2,510 listings and Annabelle by Pantaloons 1,059. The statuses are register facts about particular applications: Honey’s class 25 device mark, application 2289007, reads “Withdrawn”, and Annabella’s six-class application 2538074 reads “Refused”. The register prints “Annabella” and the shop prints “Annabelle”.

On its own shop, Pantaloons does the answerable part properly. One company’s name sits in the declaration, in the customer-care block with a working toll-free number, and in the footer; the MRP is printed with tax wording, and a buyer knows whose door to knock on.
What a buyer cannot get is the size of the family. The company reports a ₹4,560 crore Value/Masstige segment without a share for these labels, and the only document naming them is from 2013. The register holds more names than the brand list, and the Bare marks stand with a Future Group company.
Good value at a marketplace discount on an MRP of ₹999 to ₹1,499; buy where the page tells you who answers for the goods.
