The Company Declared For Trendyol Is A Marketplace

33,404 listings, and on 20 records the declared manufacturer is the Turkish marketplace company itself, origin Turkey and importer "Myntra Jabong Private Ltd" on every one. Alibaba consolidates it and publishes no percentage.

The brand facet for Trendyol on a large Indian fashion marketplace carried 33,404 listings on 26 September 2026. Twenty were opened and their declaration fields read. On all twenty the declared manufacturer is DSM Grup Danismanlik Iletisim ve Satis Ticaret A.S. at Maslak — the Istanbul company that operates the Trendyol marketplace, printed as the party answerable for a jacket sold in India.

That company calls itself an international e-commerce platform, and its parent, Alibaba Group Holding Limited, describes it to a securities regulator as “the leading e-commerce platform in Türkiye”. Neither names a factory.

Beneath the manufacturer line sit two more names, the same on all twenty: an importer printed as “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd” and a seller of record, Supercom Net. No Trendyol or Alibaba document read names either.

The short answer

Trendyol is a Turkish online marketplace operated by DSM Grup Danismanlik Iletisim ve Satis Ticaret Anonim Sirketi of Istanbul, a consolidated entity of Alibaba Group Holding Limited (NYSE: BABA); the percentage Alibaba holds is published nowhere read. The TRENDYOL-prefixed clothing marks sit with DSM Grup on the United States register, read through a mirror. In India the shelf supplies every name: DSM Grup as manufacturer, Turkey as origin, “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd” as importer, Supercom Net as seller, 20 of 20 each. Prices and listings read 26 September 2026: median ₹2,534 paid against ₹5,449 MRP on 40 listings, all reduced; 36.87 AED for a Trendyol Collection pyjama set on the brand’s own English storefront. No price tier. By Ankush Kumar.

Twenty records, one name on the manufacturer line

Start where an Indian buyer can actually look. On twenty Trendyol records opened on 26 September 2026 the declaration fields did not vary once.

Field on the listing What the 20 records printed On how many
Declared manufacturer “DSM Grup Danismanlik Iletisim ve Satis Ticaret A.S. — Maslak” 20 of 20
Country of origin Turkey 20 of 20
Importer “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd, Building Aly…” 20 of 20
Seller of record Supercom Net 20 of 20

Twenty listings opened individually on a large Indian fashion marketplace, 26 September 2026. Strings are printed as the fields printed them; the importer’s address is cut short by the field and not completed here.

The line headed manufacturer wants reading for what Indian packaging rules make it. It is a declaration, and the thing declared is responsibility: whoever is printed there has been put forward as the party a defect can be traced back to. Nothing in the field says where cloth was cut or a seam sewn. So the reading is narrow — on twenty Indian listings, the company that runs the Trendyol marketplace has been named answerable for the garments, at Maslak, the Istanbul district its app-store record gives for its office. Where any garment was made, no document read answers.

The importer line is the only Indian party any document read attaches to this brand: “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd”. A different string, Myntra Jabong India Private Limited, is the company to which a licence for a British clothing brand was announced; the two are not identical as printed and no register reading joins them, so both are set down as two strings. The seller of record, Supercom Net, is the party an Indian buyer’s contract of sale is with.

What each field on a Trendyol record settles
  • Declared manufacturerWho has accepted answerability for the goods: DSM Grup, the marketplace operator, on all 20
  • Country of originTurkey on all 20 — a declared origin, not a factory
  • Importer“Myntra Jabong Private Ltd”, the one Indian company any document read names for this brand
  • Seller of recordSupercom Net, the party the sale is with

Four fields, none a statement about where anything was stitched.

Two documents, one Turkish company

Two documents that owe nothing to each other agree on that name. The Trendyol app’s store record names its developer as DSM GRUP DANISMANLIK ILETISIM VE SATIS TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI at Spine Tower, Maslak, Istanbul. Alibaba’s Form 20-F for the year ended 31 March 2026 carries in Exhibit 8.1 — its list of subsidiaries and consolidated entities as of that date — the line “DSM Grup Danismanlik Iletisim ve Satis Tic. A.S. (Türkiye)”. The A.S. marks a Turkish joint-stock company, private, and listed on no exchange found.

The Indian companies-register mirror, searched on TRENDYOL, produced 179 records and not one named Trendyol — the nearest strings are BRANDYOL PRIVATE LIMITED, TRENDY COLLECTION PRIVATE LIMITED and TRENDYUG INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, none connected to this brand by any document read. Searched on DSM GRUP it produced one record, ASM EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANCY GROUP PRIVATE LIMITED, a different name.

What the parent says it owns, and the number it leaves out

Alibaba’s Hong Kong annual report for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2025, filed as an exhibit to that year’s 20-F, places Trendyol inside Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group’s International Commerce Retail operations and describes it in one sentence:

Trendyol is the leading e-commerce platform in Türkiye in terms of GMV in 2024 according to Euromonitor, and serves consumers with a broad selection of products and services.

Alibaba Group Holding Limited, annual report for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2025, filed as Exhibit 15.5 to its Form 20-F; read in part, 26 September 2026.

The same report says that “Beyond Türkiye, Trendyol has expanded to other valuable emerging markets, including the Gulf region”. The word “including” closes no list; the sentence names the Gulf and leaves India unnamed. The “leading” claim is attributed to a named research firm and year, and it is about Türkiye.

How much of Trendyol Alibaba owns is in none of it. The 30 June 2018 announcement on Alibaba’s own news channel, headed “Alibaba Buys Stake in Turkey’s Trendyol”, says “The deal’s value and other financial details were not disclosed.” The 2026 subsidiary exhibit is a list of names with jurisdictions in brackets and has no percentage column. Consolidation establishes control and puts no number on it, so this page prints none. In May 2025 the parent agreed to sell 85% of Trendyol GO, “a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trendyol that operates local service business in Türkiye”, keeping 15% — a local-services business with nothing to do with clothing. Trendyol has no line of its own in Alibaba’s accounts.

Thirteen marks on the American register, read through a mirror

Where these readings come from, said once. Every trade-mark line on this page is a public mirror’s copy of the United States register, not the registry’s own record. India’s official search halts at a box that has to be filled in by hand and was left unused, and no Indian mirror consulted on 26 September 2026 gave a reading that could be relied on — so this page says nothing about the Indian register, neither that a TRENDYOL mark stands on it nor that none does.

On the American mirror the result is a family: thirteen marks beginning TRENDYOL, every one owned by DSM GRUP DANISMANLIK ILETISIM VE SATIS TICARET A.S., ten for clothing, footwear and headwear.

A public mirror of the United States trade-mark register, “Results 1 – 13 of 13”, read 26 September 2026. A mark reading simply TRENDYOL was not among them; nothing is asserted about whether one exists.

A serial beginning 79 is a request to extend an international registration into the United States under the Madrid Protocol. The one record opened in full, TRENDYOL COLLECTION, carries international registration 1597945 and the status, verbatim, “630 – New Application – Record Initialized Not Assigned To Examiner”, dated 28 April 2022. Whether that registration designates India is not established; the record that would say so did not open.

A row like that fixes that a named company asked for a word, in named classes, on a named date. It proves no sale, no shop, no shipment and no arrangement in any country. It is, though, what makes the manufacturer line above make sense: the company printed as answerable on the Indian records is the company that claims the clothing marks. And the class 035 wording on that record — “provision of an online marketplace for buyers and sellers” — has one company claiming marketplace services and clothing in a single filing, which is the whole shape of this brand.

No court, tribunal or regulator has ruled on any register entry or declaration described here, and no line of this page is a finding against any company it names.

The shops Trendyol runs, and the one it does not

Trendyol’s Turkish home page carries its own list of country and language destinations, read in full on 26 September 2026: trendyol.com in Turkish, ten European language paths (/bg, /cs, /de, /el, /hu, /pl, /ro, /sk, /rs and /uk), then trendyol.ae and trendyol.sa in English and Arabic. There is no .in domain, no India entry and no Hindi path, and the English page, trendyol.com/en, priced everything in AED. Whether Trendyol will ship to an Indian address the pages that opened did not say; absence from a destination list is not a refusal to deliver.

Nor did the Indian side produce a document of its own. No licence, franchise or distribution announcement naming Trendyol in India was found in anything read. Not found is not the same as does not exist; what stands is that no document read names an Indian arrangement, and the pack does.

₹2,534 against ₹5,449 on the Indian shelf, and 36.87 AED on the Gulf one

The first 40 Trendyol listings, taken in listing order on 26 September 2026, gave a median MRP of ₹5,449 and a median selling price of ₹2,534 — 46.5% of MRP, all 40 reduced. Twenty-seven of the 40 were jackets 9, co-ords 6, night suits 6, dresses 3 and jeans 3. One listing, printed as read: Trendyol Women Mid-Rise Formal Trousers, ₹3,799 MRP against ₹1,709 paid, product 36117916.

The home-market side is thin. The Turkish home page’s product tiles did not render on the day, so no lira price was captured and none is substituted. The English storefront listed a Trendyol Collection Mink Printed Shirt-Pants Knitted Pajamas Set, style code THMSS21PT0876, at 36.87 AED. No Indian listing with that code was recorded, so no pair is made and no landed-cost sum is worked. One median on one shelf and one Gulf price on a different garment are not a price tier.

ENİA BABY Set of 2 100% Cotton Booties and Teddy Bear Patterned Newborn Jumpsuit not shown 24.04 AED A third-party seller’s

trendyol.com/en, read 26 September 2026. The “100% Cotton” in the third row is a seller’s own title claim, not Trendyol’s, with no test behind it.

That storefront shows what Trendyol is: its first six tiles were a toner, a sunscreen, an Istanbul seller’s cardigan, a padded jacket, babywear and one Trendyol Collection set. A marketplace that also sells under its own name puts its label on a shelf shared with everybody else — the pattern an Indian marketplace’s in-house womenswear name shows from the other side, and the reason this page treats Trendyol as a platform with labels, not a maker of clothes.

What reaches a buyer without any licence at all

Where a brand comes to India under a licence, the licence usually names who carries the warranty, takes the return and answers a grievance. Here there is no licence to read, and each question is answered by the shelf rather than the brand.

Warranty: no statement addressed to an Indian buyer was found, from Trendyol or from anybody selling under its name here. Returns: Trendyol runs no Indian storefront, so whatever terms it publishes are written for Türkiye, the Gulf and its European paths — and its own terms-of-use and privacy pages served navigation and no policy text when opened, so not even the Turkish terms are quoted. Grievance officer: none is named for India, because there is no Indian Trendyol site to name one on. Authenticity: no list of authorised Indian sellers was found on any Trendyol page.

What an Indian buyer has instead is the marketplace record: Supercom Net as the party the sale is with, “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd” as the company that brought the goods in, DSM Grup at Maslak as the company that has accepted answerability for them. The returns window, the refund and the grievance route come from the Indian marketplace carrying the listing, not from the brand. Compare our audit of Twenty Dresses, a single-label Indian retailer, or a listed Indian retailer’s own labels; here the answerable company is in Istanbul and the contract is with a seller no Trendyol document names.

What the labels claim

Very little that carries a number. TRENDYOL ECOFRIENDLY is the name of a mark, serial 79355300, filed 6 February 2022 for clothing, footwear and headwear, and that is all it is: no standard, certifier, testing body or figure accompanies the word anywhere read, so a garment sold under it carries a label, not a certification. Alibaba’s “fast and reliable logistics capability” is bare: no delivery time, no service level, no third-party measure. No durability, care or material claim with a number behind it was found on any Trendyol page that opened, and no supplier list, factory list or country breakdown for the own labels exists in anything read — which is why this page writes no sentence about where the clothes are made and treats the Turkey on the origin field as a declaration. For an Indian chain’s own labels, see our page on Reliance Trends; Trendyol’s Indian shelf publishes a company and a country, and stops.

Worth knowing

On a Trendyol listing in India, three names do the work: Supercom Net sells, “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd” imports, and DSM Grup of Istanbul — the marketplace company itself — is declared answerable. Keep the listing; it is the only document that names any of them.

Common questions

Who owns Trendyol?

The operating company is DSM GRUP DANISMANLIK ILETISIM VE SATIS TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI of Istanbul, named as developer on the Trendyol app’s own store record at Spine Tower, Maslak. Alibaba Group Holding Limited, listed in New York as BABA, lists that company — printed “DSM Grup Danismanlik Iletisim ve Satis Tic. A.S. (Türkiye)” — in Exhibit 8.1 to its Form 20-F for the year ended 31 March 2026, its list of subsidiaries and consolidated entities. Alibaba announced its stake on 30 June 2018 and said the deal’s value and other financial details were not disclosed; the 2026 exhibit has no percentage column. So Alibaba controls it, and no document read puts a number on how much of it Alibaba holds. This page prints none.

Is Trendyol a brand or a website?

Both, and the documents keep them apart. Trendyol’s own “meet us” page calls it an international e-commerce platform founded in 2010, and Alibaba’s annual report for the year ended 31 March 2025 calls it “the leading e-commerce platform in Türkiye in terms of GMV in 2024 according to Euromonitor”. Its English storefront sells The Ordinary, La Roche Posay and other sellers’ goods beside its own. Separately, thirteen TRENDYOL-prefixed marks — Collection, Curve, Modest, Kids, Young, Maternity, Shoes, Sports, Limited, Ecofriendly, Man, Glam and Trendyolmilla Glam — are recorded on a mirror of the United States register, every one owned by DSM Grup. What an Indian listing calls “Trendyol” is a garment declared by the marketplace company that owns those labels: on all 20 records read, the party named answerable is the operator itself.

Which Indian company brings Trendyol here?

No Turkish or Alibaba document read names one, no licence or distribution announcement was found, and the Indian companies-register mirror shows no company named Trendyol among 179 results on the string and none containing DSM GRUP. The only Indian party on paper is on the pack: the importer field on all 20 marketplace records read on 26 September 2026 prints “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd”, at an address the field cuts short, and the seller of record on all 20 is Supercom Net. A differently spelt name, Myntra Jabong India Private Limited, is the company to which a British clothing brand’s Indian licence was announced; the two strings differ as printed and nothing read establishes that they are one registered company, so this page treats them as two strings.

Does Trendyol deliver to India from its own site?

Its own country and language links, read on 26 September 2026, run to Türkiye, ten European language paths, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, with no .in domain, no India link and no Hindi path, and its English page prices in AED. That is India’s absence from a list of storefronts. No delivery-countries page opened, so it is not a statement that Trendyol will not ship a parcel here, and this page makes none. What is established is where an Indian buyer does find the brand: on an Indian marketplace facet carrying 33,404 listings, sold by Supercom Net and imported by “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd”.

Something arrived faulty. Who is answerable?

On the documents read, three parties are on the listing and none of them is reached through a Trendyol page. The declared manufacturer, DSM Grup Danismanlik Iletisim ve Satis Ticaret A.S. at Maslak, Istanbul, is the company that has accepted answerability for the goods under Indian packaging rules on all 20 records read. The seller of record, Supercom Net, is the party the contract of sale is with. The importer is “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd”. Trendyol publishes no warranty addressed to an Indian buyer, no India-facing returns window, no Indian grievance officer and no authorised-seller list, and its own policy pages served navigation and no text when opened. The window, the refund and the grievance route therefore come from the Indian marketplace that carries the listing, and the listing is the document to keep.

The FA take

Trendyol is a case where the manufacturer line on an Indian listing and the owner’s own filing point at the same company, and that company is a marketplace. DSM Grup of Istanbul runs the platform, claims thirteen marks on the American register, and is declared answerable on twenty of twenty Indian records. What its parent holds in it is a number not published in anything read, and this page has not invented one.

Everything Indian about the brand lives on the pack. No Trendyol document read names India, an Indian importer, seller or company; none is listed among its own storefronts; no warranty, returns window, grievance officer or authorised-seller list is addressed to a buyer here. The shelf fills every gap with three names — Supercom Net, “Myntra Jabong Private Ltd” and DSM Grup — and the brand’s own paperwork confirms only the last.

Buy it as a marketplace label at ₹2,534 against a ₹5,449 MRP on the day, answered for from Maslak, sold by Supercom Net — and keep the listing, because nothing else names anyone.
